TyeeImports or JDMconnection

I am looking to buy car from japan. Does anyone have experience with tyeeimports or jdmconnection? apparently tyee sells rip off cars loaded with problems and jdm sells cars that no one originally wanted to buy in japan. I was recommended these two brokers who can bring in a car for me for a good deal, which one..

do you know what exactly you're buying? where you're buying it from? or do you want those guys to find the car for you?
i don't recommend tyee, all i've heard is bad stuff from them.

Whay about TSS, or terra2? There are sooooo many of them out there, it would be stupid to only look at/into 2 of them. You're going to be spending 10K, why not take some time and do some actual research?

do it yourself and get exactly what you want! the process is not that bad once you've done your research. i did that with my 180sx and it was fun and rewarding.

bought through Monkys and the experience was great! http://www.japaneseusedcar.ca/

since you are looking for a skyline specifically I would go to www.gtrcanada.com and ask questions there

you can get a non-GTR R33 as cheap as 8 grand these days.

clean GTRs are over 12 or 13 though, much like the R32.

another suggestion would be to go to shops like http://theskylineshop.com or z-tune and ask for suggestions, since they fix a lot of JDM imports...

Tyee is shit.
Stay away. I'm not even going to bother searching up the multiple threads from GTRC, BC Rotary, Dubberz and even on here.

Just trust me... stay away.

Go to www.feastautoexport.com

That's where I got my Skyline and I couldn't have been happier. Just email the guy (his name is Adam) tell him what you're looking for and your budget.

There is also a local option of Fraser Vally Imports http://fraservalleyimports.com/
