Who has gotten their H1N1 vaccination? Just wondering if anyone has gotten the shot yet? I'm probably gonna get it some time in the next few days. If you did, how was it? Any side effects? |
don't wanna turn into a zombie just yet... |
There was someone in manitoba who died I think after taking the flu shot. Posted via RS Mobile |
i have friends and family who took the shot both complained of their arms hurting after taking the shot... even my slightest brush against my frd's arm got her shouting in pain |
I had the seasonal and H1N1 shot same time on 2 different arm. Initially the arm with the season shot was more tender for the first couple hour After that, the H1N1 arm started to hurt more Day 2 - seasonal arm only showed very slight tenderness while H1N1 hurts when I try flapping my arm like a chicken H1n1 arm pain lasted for about 4 days. Protips - get the h1n1 shot on left arm if you are right handed and vice versa & eat a tylenol right after the shot |
Don't believe in those shots, H1N1/flu. |
I got mine on Friday, best thing to do is pop a tylenol right before you get it. I only felt pain for half an hour after. |

Use ibuprofen, there have been a few (albeit poor) studies that show a reduced response to the H1N1 vaccine with the use of acetaminophen. Also, the etiology of the pain is likely inflammatory in nature...so an anti-inflammatory should work better (assuming its safe to take in yourself) |
I had the shot today and yeah my arm now feels sore 6 hours after lol And on the card that they give you, they actually suggest that you take tyleno for pain or fever. |
Has anyone gotten the vaccine, and NOT experienced any side effects? |
im gonna get the shot next tuesday... wish me luck... i give you permission to shoot me in the face if i turn undead |
got it last thursday.. it was a little sore at first. then like a couple hours later didnt feel anythin two days after i was basically liftin stuff at work.. |

gonna get mine on the 30th at Killarney haha |
Got H1N1 shot on left arm, and seasonal flu on right arm (I'm right handed) on Saturday, November 21. Left arm was fine, right arm was sore for 2-3 days. As if you had just worked out. Each person will be different though! |
I got it a couple of weeks ago, my arm was sore for a few days. |

I know people who have gotten them, most had sore arms and some experienced fever. |
my friend has it |
just soreness on the vaccinated area no biggie :D |
Sore on the arm that I got the shot in for a few days.. Like I felt like my muscles were stiff and felt like they were being pulled when I raise my arm up to tie my hair degree. -_-;; No other side effects though. |
only side effect is a sore arm? anyone have any other side effects? |
slight signs of fever is normal since vaccines are the attenuated virus (weakened/dead versions). Just a get a good sleep before and after your shot and drink adequate water. |
not getting it! |
