I wish we got Jack in the Box here :okay:

Good thing it's only a 15 minute drive away from me, including crossing the border :troll:

Had a McLobster today for the first time. Actually got a surprisingly large amount of meat on it. Wouldn't say it was bad, but I don't think I'd have it again.

TOPEC 06-27-2015 07:45 PM

the mclobster is a hit or miss, i bought 2 at the same time to try out, 1 had large amounts of meat while the other barely had any...

HonestTea 06-27-2015 07:55 PM

Had the McLobster the other day and it wasn't too bad. The price was a bit high for my liking but if you ignore the price, the McLobster I had wasn't bad.

Although I wouldn't get it again, mostly due to price.

Akinari 06-27-2015 11:42 PM

McLobster is definitely a one-time-only thing. Way too expensive even though I did get quite a bit of Lobster.

Ikkaku 06-27-2015 11:53 PM

So far I'm 0/3 for the mclobster at Kerrisdale McD...they keep selling out lol

If its' sold out at the location, then it's sold out. They won't get anymore stock in. Go to another location if you absolutely want to try it out.

StanleyR 07-04-2015 06:25 PM

gotta admit, they do have some cool a/c and clean bathrooms.

two reasons making me wanna eat there more and more

In recent memory, I cannot recall a clean bathroom at a Burnaby or Vancouver Mcdonalds. Last time I ever was impressed was stopping at small town McD's on the way to Seattle.

RevYouUp 07-04-2015 10:38 PM

Yea, haven't been to a McDs with a clean bathroom, I hate how none of them have paper towels anymore

G-spec 07-05-2015 10:03 AM

Had McDonalds for the first time in years last night, (cousin visiting likes mcdonalds) how do you guys do it on a regular basis, and why... price ??
I got what I assumed (judging from pictures on menu) was their highest quality burger the Angus 1/3 pounder, got a cheeseburger and nuggets.

Angus was dry and tasteless, even the damn nuggets tasted different than what I remember them but last time I had nuggets was 5 years ago I think so the recipe might have changed, the cheeseburger however is exactly the same that salty salt passing itself off as taste.

I asked for Fajitas too used to love those, and they told me they stopped selling them years ago whatta hell, that was probably the best thing on the menu!

Oreo McFlurry is always money though, ALWAYS !!

guurl 07-06-2015 12:07 PM

mcdonalds should get onion rings lol!!

I mean I just had a McDonalds meal for the first time in about 5 years (cheese quarter pounder with fries and 10 piece nuggets) and it was even more disgusting than I remember it, burger literally defied logic, there was ketchup and sauce on it but yet it was still super dry... and the fries, all I could taste was salt salt salt, they were too thin to taste like anything... the nuggets didn't really taste like anything even after I dipped them in sweet n sour

Mcdonalds 1994 Olympic spicy curly fries were the best! Wish they brought it back.

punkwax 07-06-2015 04:04 PM

Gucci Mane 07-06-2015 04:12 PM

lol, if you want to nitpick bruh :hotbaby:
yea I've been there occasionally few times over the last few years, but only ordering chicken fajitas and salads oreo mcflurries, which doesn't qualify as eating McDonalds in the sense of things
So when I said the other night I had mcdonalds, I literally mean I had a fckin burger and nuggets and or fries from mcdonalds (haven't touched their fries since high school 2001 btw, never had a big mac in my life...)

I'm trying to figure out wtf is on the menu that you guys are going back for, because if their best burger taste like shit, what are you guys eating there ??
it can't be the salt sticks masquerading as potatoes, don't tell me it's that?

oh on the note tip, asked my friend who's regional manager at MCdonalds why do the nuggets look and taste different from a few years ago when I last had them, he said it's because they're actually using real white chicken meat now and not that pink slime mush that Jamie Oliver brought to our attention
old nuggets looked greyish white, new ones are white meat

bcrdukes 07-06-2015 08:15 PM

Why do you have to justify this? If you go to McDonald's, you go to McDonald's. It's not like anyone will think any less of you. Unless you feel strongly that you're better than everyone else because of your self-control?

Ordering chicken fajitas, salads, and Oreo McFlurries not qualifying as eating McDonald's? Which fucking planet are you from? :fuckthatshit:

This is a perfect example of the weird taboo some people have developed against McDonalds. It's a fucking restaurant where you can get a meal for $5. It is what it is. It's not "evil" it's not automatically "unhealthy". They serve food, and if you like it, you like it. If you don't, you don't. Why question other people, and talk down on them?

The "anti mcdonalds" culture is so fucking weird to me. :fulloffuck:

G-spec 07-06-2015 09:04 PM

whew, you guys are reading waaay too deep into my post, reading between some lines that aren't even there, come on seriously dudes yall are forum vets :D
I'm not on a anti Mcdonalds rant, I just wanted to know wtf you guys are eating there that's supposedly so good? because their two main foods both taste like shit (burgers and fries)

and no going to McDonalds and eating a salad, ice cream or a wrap does NOT qualify as eating to McDonalds in the literal sense of going to fckin McDonalds, you know damn well what I mean Dukes don't front :rukidding:

edit: ohhh Skinny I re-read my post and I see I mentioned Jamie Oliver so you're assuming I roll with him, I get that.... let me clarify, what I really was trying to say is to me the old shit slime nuggets tasted better, I'm the guy that goes to authentic Japanese restaurant and thinks the "real" crab in my cali rolls taste like shit, I'm so used to the imitation... anyway, etc..

Gucci Mane 07-06-2015 09:06 PM
