Which brand specifically? The only BBQ I found that comes close to McD is Diana's. And no sweet and sour I found tastes like McD's because let's be honest, McD sweet and sour is not even sweet and sour, it's like, plum sauce or some shit.

Big mac sauce is just thousand island sauce, mcchicken is mayo, and fish fillet is tartar. They're no different than any generic ones.

What about hot mustard, you can't find those neither.

On another note, coupons are out on May 9th. You're welcome.

it good for nothing but some emergency tea/coffee when you are cold or have nothing to go. it's a mystery for me how people still choose mc. as a child i only liked it for toys, and it was their cleverest trick to attract kids

My wife has been searching for the equivalent BBQ sauce in stores, but not having much luck. Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce comes pretty close, but she still prefers the McDonald's stuff.

SkinnyPupp 05-11-2017 04:30 PM

There's a no-name brand imported from the US I can get in Hong Kong called Essential Everyday and their BBQ sauce tastes a lot like McD's packets. I don't like most of their products, but their BBQ sauce is the best I've tried and I buy it all the time.

I'm just not sure where you'd get it in Canada. In the US it would be sold at small independent grocery stores most likely.

Presto 05-11-2017 04:38 PM

^^^

I'll check it out. The IGA in Sumas (plus a few other places around there) supposedly has some.

SkinnyPupp 05-11-2017 04:46 PM

The honey flavour is even sweeter if they have that (which would make it even closer to McD's) good luck! SeemsGood

guurl 05-12-2017 12:14 PM

I wish mcd had 20 nuggets for $5. :(

ZN6 05-12-2017 12:41 PM

I love the syrup for the pancakes. I cannot find one that tastes quite like it. anyone know where I can get it?

fliptuner 05-12-2017 04:39 PM

The syrup is ok but I'm glad they still serve them with real, whipped butter.

SkinnyPupp 05-12-2017 06:52 PM

They use margarine here FeelsBadMan

At least their apple pies are still fried though! FeelsGoodMan

fliptuner 05-12-2017 06:55 PM

They have both here, so you have to specify what you want. If you order anything with an English muffin, it'll have margarine brushed on it, unless you request otherwise and put the butter on, yourself.

McDonald's Build Your Own Burger

Wow, what a fucking disappointment.
They changed up the Angus beef patty (it's like dry cardboard now, even when fresh) and is no longer like the juicy beef patty it once was. They no longer do table service and do not bring your food out on a wooden paddle and fresh, pipping hot fries in a metal basket. They totally have scaled back on the dining experience and tonight's meal was the very exact definition of fast food.

To make my point really stick, I'd rather eat the Feenie burger @ Cactus Club. I used to be a big proponent of Build Your Own Burger, but not anymore. Eat my shorts. This was a terrible customer experience.

Negative to the max. No numeric rating to truly show how disappointed I am. Fuck you, McDonald's.

SkinnyPupp 05-20-2017 05:18 PM

They did the same thing here

What's worse is that throughout all of Asia, they removed the Big Extra and the Quarter Pounder from the menu (along with my favourite, the Double Quarter Pounder) to make room for these dumb burgers.

bcrdukes 05-20-2017 05:29 PM

Remove the Quarter Pounder from the menu? That's a staple menu item!

Well, they might replace it with a non-retarded unit burger called royale with cheese.

Yup

I dunno about the cheeseburger, but when I went for the hamburger, the drive thru person upsold me on hamburgers for 67 cents each. I got only two with a large fries for lunch and was satisfied for under five bucks with tax. I felt like I was gonna die from all that food...seriously

Of course a few hours later I felt like I was gonna puke until I ate some veggies, but at least it got me poopin again (was kinda plugged up lately)
:fullofwin:

^ please let me know if you happen to learn how to make the big mac sauce. It should be the same price to buy that bottle and buying from scratch. you just get more out of it from scratch.

Krafts Chicken n Rib BBQ sauce tastes exactly the same as McDonald's BBQ sauce or am i crazy?

You can get it at Walmart

http://www.locowholesale.ca/image/ca...26-500x500.jpg

6o4__boi 06-06-2017 01:31 PM

nah, it's about the same

i'm not too crazy about McD's or any fast food's bbq sauce...they pretty much all taste the same to me

mikemhg 06-10-2017 12:49 PM

Crazy you guys like Mcdicks BBQ, I always felt they had the worst BBQ sauce, it's too sour and cheap tasting, not enough smoke. Still think Wendy's has the P4P best BBQ sauce.
