fliptuner 03-10-2020 12:20 PM

Little Mac. Fuck that.

McDouble w/ Mac sauce, yo

bcrdukes 03-10-2020 12:52 PM

I think the Double Big Mac has always been available, except it's a non-menu item.

whitev70r 03-10-2020 02:02 PM

On a positive note, McD is offering free fries on their app courtesy of the Raptors 12 or more 3's in their last game. All you have to do is buy any drink or food item ... so get an XL coffee for $1.05 and free med fries ftw! I think today is last day.

just had the Quarter pounder BLT, needs more seasoning, I thought it was kind of bland.

Mcdicks didn't hire me FeelsBadMan

donjalapeno 03-11-2020 10:41 PM

^ needs some sort of sauce. It lacked something. I think Big mac sauce would be good on it.

You can still buy any size coffee off the app for $1

MG1 03-27-2020 10:40 PM

WHAT?????????????? lame is right.

DavidNguyen 04-29-2020 12:50 PM

McDonald's gonna run low on their beef.

MG1 04-29-2020 01:02 PM

There's always A&W - Buddy Burgers, ftmfw!

Wendy's, Burger King, etc.

Red Robin. Damn, that place is gold!

EDIT: just heard on the news That beef prices are going to go up. That affects everyone, not just McDonald’s. Then again, if it’s frozen beef............... does McD’s still do frozen beef?

McDonald's Canada to start using imported beef amid Canadian supply concerns :heckno:

So is everywhere, even Costco is importing beef

MG1 04-30-2020 08:55 AM

Great............ USDA inspected beef. Don't know why, but never felt comfortable with that organization. Probably just me.

MG1 04-30-2020 09:21 AM

Not saying Canadian Inspected anything is better, but why is it that I always get the runs on day later when I order food from places like McD's, Taco Time, Burger King, etc. in the US?

Whenever I buy any type of meat, I check where it's from. No Frills, of all the stores I shop at, seems to have mostly US meat products. I avoid them like the plaque. Cheap as hell and hard to resist, but I do.

mikemhg 04-30-2020 10:42 AM

I always thought that in Canada we could only purchase beef and poultry from Canada, given our different regulatory standards?

Have I been wrong the whole time here?

MG1 04-30-2020 11:05 AM

Yup. No Frills seems to have it all worked out. Pork, beef, chicken, you name it. I am so paranoid of US meat that I check it numerous times. No indication of origin, don’t buy. I do make exemptions, though. Spam. Lol.

racerman88 04-30-2020 11:13 AM

Always good idea to check origins of product

Yes you have. When the Cdn dollar was high. They would order meat from the states. Wayyyy cheaper. If Alberta was low on 1 cut of meat. They would order where ever (USA) USDA Beef standards are alot lower then CFIA Standards. When USDA meat arrives. It looks hella nasty. The quality is garbage. Muscles are tiny and torn. Of course Public doesn't see it. Butchers trim them up to make it look nicer.

Funny thing. I know the owner of Fujiya. I was chatting with him about how it’s nice to see he has “Product of Japan” signs in front of products. He’s Japanese, so I said to him the Nikkei people here want to know? He replies, “No, the Chinese people ask all the time.” I guess they don’t trust anything that comes out of their country. And, I guess they would know best.

Just a story I thought I’d share.

BTW, Nikkei means anyone from Japan or has origins from there. Not to be confused with Issei, Nissei, Sansei, Yonsei, etc.
