So you modified your car with aftermarket parts and then complain its a lousy car when one of those parts fails?

FAIL to u sir
the aftermarket part is a compliment to the fuel system of the car
the low pressure fuelpump is a part on recall
regardless, VW is going to look at the car now
am i complaining about the lousy car, why yes, is that such a big deal to you
welcome to venting anger 101

Time to go the Japanese way.

The way I have gone out on rescue missions so many times to my friends in Euro (especially those VAG stuff) cars many have seen the light and changed to a Japanese DD.

Euro pride and joy for the weekends cool, Euro DD not so cool.

sorry to hear your dub is failing you i hope they fix your problem and make u in luff with the family again ^^

is your car APR tuned? do the parts void warranty? ie stage 1 chip...stage 2 fuel pump, dp, cat back ect...or does VW only honor REVO customers?

well that depends
the typical talk is if its the aftermarket part that is affecting the car, then yes, void warranty
if not, then they have nothing to say

^ His profile says 08 GTI. Since it's a newer car, It's probably whatever modification OP had done that fucked up his car?

its not modification that fucked up the car
its engine design flaw that fucks up the car

basically, the car has issues with the cam follower, its a hit or miss

Aren't you always taking a risk when going with a European car? When my mom had her old audi 80 it was always expensive and troublesome to buy or change anything in the car. I remember it was a bitch for my dad to replace something as easy as the brakes pads in the calipers. Intentional or unintentional flaw? Is this just another way for euro manufacturers to get their customer to come back and spend money with them repairing the car? Hmm
