From what I read on the GTP forums it's one of the design test chambers for the Red Bull F1 Technical team. Those guys over at the forums are assuming/interpreting it as a "build your own F1" mode. But I think it's nothing more but a fancy transition to the logo/ending
i think it means they finally finished the fuking game lol.
if you are a true collector this is actually a good deal
assuming it will be quite limited as there's the production # certificate
keep that shit sealed and sell it in 10-20 years and you can easily get $1k for it.

i dunno man. in 20 years, i cant see anyone wanting the gt5 collectors that badly.
and yeah, its actually a good deal for 99, but i'll just stick to the original.
its just unnecessary junk to me.

apparently, a lot of rumors right now are saying only 200 out of the 1000 cars will have interior.
no one could confirm whether the "interior" stands for both cockpit and internal components such as engine, suspensions etc. or just the internal components alone.
the premium models are confirmed that every bolt and piece of part are modeled.
i could care less about the internal components, but i hope every single car would have the cockpit.....

Reading from this http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/gr...-2010-hands-on, they talk about how the interior is created "down to the stitching." I would think that it refers to the cockpit view (dash, seating etc...)
But I drive with the bumper cam anyways, the cockpit view is eyecandy at most, since having an additional set of hands on a wheel in front of my hands on a wheel just adds so much more confusion, and the inability to look into corners is hard with the car's pillars in the way. Maybe I should give it another go now that head tracking has been confirmed
These must be some of the worst project managers ever. How do you spend over 4 years on a game, promise 1000+ cars and then end up only properly doing 20% of them?
People on neogaf are saying the standard cars are literally PS2 GT4 models up-res'd for GT5 (a la GT HD). And lol @ GT4 decal from the GT5 standard cars video http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/3969/22239255.jpg
that's kinda sad if true
from what i've been hearing standard cars will still have interior...just not the coils and the engine bay/undercarriage whatnot.
