GT5 willingness to play is gone... last week and a half were well spent though

Just found myself walking down to my basement and then coming back up. Didn't feel like doing an hour long race in the same car... maybe I'll go back and throw it on b-spec or something, but game is getting boring again. I highly doubt I'll be getting a wheel at this rate. much rather play gta4 again.

I guess I've gotten to the point where I feel like I've done everything in the game and there isn't much variation anymore. Done all the special events except for nascar too. Just have the last series of races to do but not high level enough for some of them.

AGH must find new pastime ... NFS?

Oil, not sweat.

The lesson here is don't buy a white seat. Everyone's hair gets greasy as the day passes, unless you take a shower 3 times a day. Those who shave their heads know it is even worse without hair, by the end of the day your head is very greasy.

FYI, my setup with the civic seat made up of 2X4's and 2X6's cost less than that setup and is much more like a cockpit lol

except mine takes up alot more room

you can get them at walmart, zellers, cdn tire, etc. usually $30-$40 bucks but when they are on sale they are $10-$15

Is it sturdy enough? ummm.. I have beaten 90% of the online players with this set up. but you have to be smooth or you will move the table. If I can strap down the table, then I'm sure it will be very sturdy for me.

I like this setup is because I don't have to take much room and I can store it very efficiently when I don't play and all for < $15.

Do any of you guys actually rev match and/or heel-toe on your G25 or G27? Does it improve performance at all? Increased lap times? I've tried a few times and I can't seem to get any better times out of it. I'm probably doing it wrong or not well enough. I'm still fairly new to this techniques. I've heard of them lots of times but never really put it into play until recently. It's alittle trickier then I thought due to my setup as my knee keeps hitting the bottom of the G25 steering wheel mount.

I know this may sound kind of silly to some who use the technique on a daily basis or on the track and are pros are it but I gotta start somewhere I guess.

Thanks
Mike

Count me in too...

After getting the Zonda R, Enzo, LFA, Lambos.... lost the urge to play. Am now just farming that 70k circle race to MAYBE buy a mclaren f1. I actually spend more time making HD wallpapers in photo mode now ha!

Overall, I would say its an ok game that you will prolly pick up and play every 2-3 weeks (like in GT5p) The only letdown for me was how messed up the exhaust note is, in most cases it is WAY too soft, the stupid supercharger like whine from the custom transmission drowns it.

I finished the game with it. just don't yank on the steering too hard or the table will move.
