Is there anyway to setup B-spec so the drivers just keep doing races while I'm at work? or do I have to enter my driver in each race? which means i have to check it every 20 mins or so.

Well hopefully we will get that website thing where we can control b-spec.

dont bother with the FGT, I did it with the FGT and it took me 1hr:47min to do it. It was a handful to drive and got frustrating at times.

I re-did the same event with the Toyota GT-one and finished the race in 1hr:39mins due to the car being much easier to drive and being able to pull off more consistant lap times

^ if you love cars, love driving for the hell of driving/racing. get it - it's easily the best simulation racing game out there. It is pure simulation, not arcade - well fine maybe a bit of arcade thrown into the mix that differentiates it from say.... rFactor

That being said though, keep in mind that the game is COMPLETELY different from say... need for speed. GT is about racing lines, tactics, technical tunes on brakes, alignment, suspension, drivetrain etc...

There's quick races that takes like 5-10 minutes max to finish off, then you have the Endurance races that dark has been posting about (the longest one I think in the game is the 24hr LeMans).

BUT if you have a XBOX360 and you have never owned a GT Title, you would be better off with Forza 3 - from my short experience with that game, it is much easier to get into and oriented less towards extreme car fanatics.

OH YES!! to fully experience the game make sure you pick up at fully supported steering wheel. Driving Force Pro would be the most basic one, up to the G27 which is the best on the market right now for the PS3 IMO

how does the endurance race work in this game?

I know in GRID it's condensed into 24 minutes...

and would the AI be realistic enough to lose stamina in A-spec?

^ AFAIK it's full length, and yes the AI is supposed to make more mistakes as time goes on (though there aren't any full on write-offs/DSQs due to the lack of mechanical damage)

^ no gated shifter and clutch, only sequential

just read some more on it..apparently you can only save in 24 hour ones in the pit-stop and you may select to choose to go on with a-spec or choose b-spec..but seems like no save for the other ones.

if they expected 24 hour race without saves my ps3 would be on for 3 weeks straight from like 20 different sittings LOL

G25, G27 is your only choice

the next step up would be the Fanatec Porsche wheels, then you would have the Thrustmaster T500RS

Do you want a clutch pedal?
Do you want a gated shifter?

If you answered Yes to any of these, buy a G25/G27
If you answered No to both of these, buy a Driving Force Pro

Do you want sequential shifting?

If you answered Yes, buy a G25
If you answered No, buy a G25
If you want to spend more money on an other wise similar product, buy a G27

I have a driving force pro.

I can tell you one thing - it's noisy as fuck.
literally, it's nosier than watching japanese porn. same kinda sound too - screeching and moaning.

Just ask anyone who has played with me, the sound is so loud it gos through my bluetooth... I remember someone asking "WHO THE FUCK IS DRILLING SHIT"

I absolutely love my G25 setup, it takes the game to a whole new level

finally played online with a buddy tonight for a few races, love playing it cranked up and hearing his shifts etc.

one question though, how do you use your own cars online? when i looked into the garage i just see kind of a random assortment of cars?

damn, so that's the drilling/squeeling sound I hear when I'm playing online. I end up muting everyone cuz it's so annoying.

you have to set them as "favourite" under your garage. then when you're online you should be able to see them under "favourites"
