im so close to rage quitting the game. its so slow and tedious to collect experience and money. 1.05 helped but there is no way im going to sit in front of the tv and do these 12 hours plus races. i just want to drive the cars i want at the tracks i want. none of this unlocking and level up bs. if i wanted to do that i would go play a jrpg. i remember the good old days where you can just keep winning and selling prize cars or hack the save file. all was well. i rarely play for more than an hour at a time and its usually just a few laps of the ring or play online with friends. so, realistically, that means there is no way i could ever finish the game or even buy/mod any of the expensive cars. i haven't sold the game only because almost all of my car friends have it. i remember having way more fun playing GT2 on my PS1. anyone here feel the same?
whAT the hell when did they sneak this in? i just turned off the hud, there is absolutely nothing on the screen except interior of car. this wasnt possible before\ AWEEEEESOME

Anyone know a place where I can get a G25 or G27 ? Everyone seems to be OOS ... GF got me a Driving Force GT, but I don't want to open it so I can do an exchange/refund if necessary w/o having to go through a lot of hassle at Futureshop.

^ I just picked up a DF GT lol, and realized I have no good tables to install or clamp the damn wheel. Thinking if I should order a wheel stand from wheel stand pro or fanatec.

fck yea skid control was on, I'm using a gotdang controller I'm not gonna go chasing a simulation fix with a controller. I only have ABS on when I use my steering wheel.
I also like using controller for rally events, it's fckin exhausting whipping the steering wheel everywhere when you're rallying, controller its just a flick of the finger
Throttle Control.
Whip it in on an angle and throttle it out. I don't even countersteer half the time, and got Gold in all of the Rally events.
The "hardest" ones are probably the Dirt ones. Snow/Tarmac are easyyyyy.

The G27 has been on international backorder for a while now. I'm returning mine to Best Buy soon though so the G27's availability in Metro Vancouver may go from back-ordered to in-stock for a day or two.
At what level do the B-Spec Drivers stop sucking ? Even at level 7, they're taking vastly superior cars and hitting walls all over the place and finishing like 5th or 6th ... In A-Spec, I win the same race by like 20 seconds w/ the same car ... Very frustrating
i bought that g25 wheel for this game and all i can seem to do is fuck around. lol. a buddy of mine lent me his done up m5 and all ive been doing with it is mad donuts.... cant seem to find any focus with it, all i want to do is have all the cars unlocked so i can pick which ever the fuck one i want and race the shit out of it at any track i want. YES IT ALWAYS HAS TO BE ABOUT WHAT I WANT

About lvl 20 or so. Pretty much can win any race with a car that has a decent tune.
The dupe glitch is so stupid, basically all cars are free once you farmed the cost/tune credits. Hope they don't patch it cause farming a stupid oval 50+ times just to get a fgt was no joke. Posted via RS Mobile
european is right...the mugen 87 ef civic kills the japanese 80's series..i was like 1:10 ahead of the pack and i'm usually pretty bad
It sure does!! I made a video but why is the video so freaking choppy and some weird issue in the beginning. The original file I made is prefect. Youtube screwed up? I uploaded a few times already and same issue over and over again.
Am I doing this rev match heel toe thing right? I think I'm a little off but it is effective as I am able to knock off a few seconds compared to the normal way.

^ im pretty sure the game heel toes for you already, just watch the gas pedal bar on replays or when doing B spec races, when they down shift you can see the gas bar shoot up.
Sick pedals btw buddy

Ok so I'm playing the 2nd round of bonus races in the seasonal events, tsukuba 10laps with any rx7, I've modded my car to 392hp with the custom geared tranmission and I can only get within 4 secs by the final lap in this race
^ some of these bonus races you can win with bone stock cars, some of them you have to modify full suspension and aerodynamics, and it may not be enough to win, you literally have to go in and set the car up for the track you're doing.
So for Tsukuba it's a short time attack track, you won't be going any faster than 135mph, so first off gear your transmission to something like 145. Then buy a spoiler and put your downforce in the rear maximum, also go in your suspension setups and adjust accordingly, you want something like 15k springs front and 12k springs rear.
Also learn the track well, the final exit you can push past the racing strips, you gotta abuse that chicane that comes right after the very first turn.
Check out some of the tunes in GT Planet, this is a very useful forum for Gran Turismo players
Yeah I had the tranmission tuned for short track, I think its set to 200kmh or something low. I'll have to go mess with the suspension, thanks for the tips.
