and that is one of the main reasons 24 got canceled. I was hearing that avg production costs per episode was about 6-7 million +. On Smallville & Supernatural, we never use screens on location days, our directors just shoot around it and if the background needs to be replaced or enhanced with additions our VFX guys just do it via matte paintings. This includes us having turned night shots into day shots with sun and all.
The way 24 is shot is more in-line of how feature films are shot instead of tv shows.
+1 ..reminded me of the good old days when jack snuck into the terrorist's den to save secretary heller from being decapitated in beginning of season 4.
That is probably my most favorite scene from the whole series.
Kyla is such an annoying character. Every time she opens her mouth, that crappy accent comes out. Her character is probably 20-ish, but she behaves like a stupid, naive child. She is so oblivious to everything.
"Oh president taylor did you find the bad man who killed my daddy wah wah wah wah". I hope Jack gets an excuse to torture her.
Jack Bauer, Kiefer Sutherland, Star of "24" Bounced Out of London Pub (Photos)

Is Kiefer Sutherland Jack Bauer hero of "24" or is Kiefer Sutherland a drunk with an arrest record that would make O.J. Simpson cringe? Kiefer Sutherland is no stranger to being arrested and he meets with the cops on more than his television show, "24."
feels good to see dana get smacked around like that haha. Pretty good episode imo. President Taylor is the dumb one for thinking she'd be able to lock down jack so easily. Can't wait to see the final 6 hours of the show
