Hey guys, had a couple of questions. My sister is getting rid of her City Fido plan, so I was thinking of maybe taking it over. Can I transfer my existing Rogers number to that plan? Also I know the name can't be transfered, as it would remain under her name, but would there be a way to have her name NOT show up for caller ID?

but u can ask as transfering between immediate family is ok

Are you talking about the unlimited city fido plan? They don't allow transfering the plan anymore because they want to get rid of it.

Yes, you can change your number.
Yes, the caller ID can be changed to your's. Get them to call it in for you at a store by a rep at a corporate store.

I also advise that you go to the store, so you don't have to wait. Your sister would have to be there aswell though.

Still wont let you. I have tried to transfer my dads plan to my name. NO GOOD

No grandfathered plans can be transferrable

Just an update guys,

You CAN transfer the plan between family members! I got my number ported over and the plan is under my name now. And yes its the old City Fido plan $40/month, unlimited use!

uh.... my case was not allowed by FIDO .... from my mom to me

switched new $40 city fido one tho...
