Is the 240SX easy to steal?

A guy I know got his stolen last night in the coquitlam area, behind the coquitlam center.. His was a 91 i think, 240 sedan. Don't think he had a bar on it, but are they easy to steal in general?

super easy to break into. I've been locked out of mine before and had a tow truck friend get in in seconds. with the frameless window it's easy. if that doesn't work, the door lock is easy to get into apperently, as my brothers S13 has been broken into so many times and it's always locked.

as for stealing the car itself, I don't know. Getting in is easy though.

Just unplug the harness going into the key cylinder and short 2 wires, and a 3rd for the starter off you go.

That might start it but it won't unlock the steering

i've had to hotwire my 240 and bypass my immobolizer once...it took awhile, but i finally got it.

scary.

btw quick releases don't work as antitheft.

its called coupe. they never made sedan.

its easy to steal mainly because of the way door is configured. doesnt have the Full door frame. its frameless window so with weather strips u can easily stick something inside the cabin. at least thats what I think....

had my 240 stolen once when i had it but they actually punctured my door lock to get in.

i drive a different car now and now days I have 2 way alarm and qr hub for steering wheel and when i park Most of the times i take my fuel injector fuse with me.
