335xi vs G37x S Sedans

I am torn between these 2 cars and since 09 is coming to an end I got good deals too. I have heard lots of good and bad about them and still can't decide. I am planing to lease em and gonna buy it out after the contract. I like the style and performance of these 2 but for the styling part I am leaning towards the 335. But, i know, i have the durability and reliability concern. Any suggestions or advice?

If you still hasn't decide by now, all the 09 BMWs are now gone. Time to think 10.

You better do the math if you are really going to buy, I have yet to see a heck of a deal leasing then buying out.

I pick BMW just because there are more good indie shops that fixes them..

I recommend test driving the cars and see which fits best for you. I was overly impressed with the G37x when i drove my friends, you should give that car a try.

I say 335i also...u probably gonna be doing more stuff to style than performance (I would) so 335i is the choice I would suggest

I see a lot of nicely done 335i than g37x s sedan

Good luck

I like the G37x's value and styling better, not sure what the discounts are on the bmw though and also 3 series tend to have good lease rates. I've always been a fan of german cars though, if you plan on doing mods go for the 335 IMO. But it seems like the G is also better equipped

Also G37X non sport starts at 41/42 ish which is a heck of a deal

only thing to be concerned about is the HPFP issue with the bmw, but otherwise go for the 335xi

I test drove both before going with a 09 335i
I definitely like the handling and the way the 335i feels more than the G37.
The auto transmission on BMW also feels much smoother, quicker and more responsive

Not sure about x tho. (Why would u want an X drive in Vancouver anyway)

BMW production year starts after Octoberfest.. so summer / fall is the time to get the 09... by this time their lots have already started to fill with 2010 models.

Have a 335xi coupe as well as a 06 G35 coupe. I've test driven the g37 coupe as well. Although i like both cars....

335 HANDS DOWN imo. It feels more solid and is faster - reliability is worse though with the bimmer.

Test drive both and see what you like.

I have test drove both of them... they are both superb. I like the feel/ handling of the 335xi and most important the design of the car. Yeah, its reliability just makes me think twice. Guess i have to wait for July 10.

Thanks! Whens the absolute best time to get a year-old model from BMW? In July/August? Sept/Oct? I was hoping the incentives during the fall($5000 rebate on 335i's)would be going up near late-dec and early-jan

Which sucks cause I heard they're shortening the 2010 models too cause theirs been a few rumors going around that the 335i will get a single-turbo that produces 306hp or so HP from the F-series and the 328i will get a bump too in the 2011 models. But those are just rumors though.

Yah there is some type of fuel pump issues/long start time issues with the 335. Lets just say that both fuel pumps have been replaced recently and the issue is still not gone. Takes forever to start up still.

In terms of the sedan the 335 looks MUCH nicer as well. If you are going to lease or keep it for 4 years reliability doesnt matter too much since everything is covered for 4 years (regular maintenance, oil changes etc) - so no cost to you. You have to factor in the service costs for the g37 in as well dont forget

also euro cars are just so much nicer for fit and finish.

I personally order my BMWs around November when the MY details are out. Since there is so many combination, I have yet to see a car on the lot already that have everything I want.

I think BJ had their demo sale around early Nov.. that's when the last of the MY are being get rid of. So if I am you, I think August would be the time to look.

You have to know that BMW runs in an on demand system, you car is built and delivered within 6 weeks you put in an order.

when comparing my G35 coupe to my friends 335i coupe gas he doesn't get much worse, though he drives like a grandma and i don't.

as for which cars i like better

again comparing my G to my friends 335 coupe, i prefer the g much more, the driving position, interior, seats, and the power delivery.

although i do think the 335 is a better car, i just like infiniti's more.

OP get the 335xi

i has the 08 g35x sedan and 08 335i cab.
g35x much more soft ride.a chilled car. passengers love it, good sound system, roomy
335i FUN to drive. looks sexier. shows class.

looks like u board, I dont know about the coupe but snowboards dont fit through the trunk/rear armrest-through thingy in the g35, which SUCKS and seat warmers take forever to get warm.

Gas is like almost the exact same.
