Stupid Sony (Camera phone sugestions)

I received a Sony Ericsson C905i from a friend as a gift when he traveled back to Hong Kong. It was because my old Sony K810i was on it's last stretch (I dropped it into the whale tank at Georgia Aquarium while trying to take a picture of one of the stupid divers). Anyways, I had the phone for less than 3 hours before the screen died on me, the issue being the slider mechanism/LCD ribbon. When I called customer support here in Canada they said that since it's a gray market phone I would have to pay a $135 to analyze what was wrong with it after I shipped it out. Now after contacting my friend and him saying that was nearly half the price of the phone that I should just get another camera phone. He also mentioned that he cannot return it since it was "water" stock (I'm not familiar with the term but some of you from Hong Kong might).

So here's my situation, does anyone have a good camera phone recommendation ? I don't need a smart phone necessarily but would like one with a awesome image quality and the ability to throw some pictures up onto facebook.

Also does anyone know a good phone repair company that won't rape me up the ass ?

Water stock is stuff that is possibly fake. They are usually extremely cheap but you won't be able to return it even it was unopened. It's the same as the things you would buy at Richmond night market.

WRONG
waterstock basically means the product was not bought from official distributor thus no warranty
for example in HK, alot of water stock comes from singapore or even ROGERS in hk

official goods in HK brought over here are considrered "water goods"

fake phones are far and few nowadays in HK, so the chances of that happening is very slim

take it to JP, Jacob knows alot of the C905
