I've got two 27.2 seat posts lying around. One is an Easton EC70 and the other is my stock Cannondale seat post (which I believe is a re-branded Fizik.)
Edit: Oooooh no go.

I just wanted to touch base in regards to a "RS" team jersey of some sort. I managed to find a few sponsors but ultimately, we have to sort out our own finances for the kit.
So far, we have on board the following sponsors:
1. 49th Parallel Coffee - Vince Picollo will set up a special discount in their POS terminal to allow either a discount on food/beverages or a free drink size upgrade. We have to be wearing the jersey in order to qualify for the discount/upgrade and is applicable to both Main Street and W. 4th Ave locations!
2. Performance One - We're familiar with who they are. They are a Revscene sponsor but the shop manager, Mike Lugni, is a friend of mine and the brand/shop is his pet project on behalf of Autowest BMW. He is offering 10% off labour at the shop. Regular rate is $98/hour. Aftermarket parts are not discountable. Some OEM parts will be discounted whenever possible.
3. Autowest BMW - waiting to hear back. Not sure if they will be able to provide a discount in order to maintain their brand premium.
4. Pacific Multisport - John has agreed to provide us with the high level of service and discount on parts, service and fittings as usual. He really appreciates our business.
I've been shopping around for custom jerseys and bib shorts. Quite frankly, most of them are either too expensive, in poor quality (fabric and workmanship) and/or the vendor is too difficult to work with (low turnaround times, poor communication etc.) EDIT: I need to find a new vendor for the team kit.
I'm probably missing a whole bunch of other details but feel free to ask any questions. In order to keep our PM boxes clean, please PM me with your e-mail if you are still interested. Thanks!
*** EDIT *** - Due to a misunderstanding on MY part, we will no longer pursue the Assos jerseys. They are far too expensive. This is of no fault of Strada Cycles.

If we can get 10 people, it would allow us to choose from more vendors and pricing would be cheaper! (i.e. Castelli, Sugoi, Pactimo etc.)
A fit kit can be available. So far, I'm looking at www.jakroo.ca and working with Ron Hayman (BC sales rep for Jakroo Canada) on details. They have no minimum and prices are available on the website as per product.

Is $200 a pretty safe bet of a ballpark or are there chances that it could be closer to $150? I own neither bib shorts or a jersey but have been starting to shop around.

You can definitely get a jersey for $150. It will likely be cheaper though, somewhere within $100 to $120 if we can get 5-10 people. $200 was stretching it to include a jersey and bib shorts but we would be compromising fit and quality (nobody likes that!) For example, on the Jakroo website, if you look at the Giro jersey, it's $99 if we get 5 - 9 orders. $89 if we get 10+ and that's their top of the line short sleeve jersey.
Then again, if you want some Rapha custom gear, by all means, treat the whole team to one!

Wiggle order came in... Got my dhb bib shorts and jersey. Ended up with a medium for the bib's and large for the jersey. Both fit fine. Glad I read the reviews because the sizing charts are not the best.
Hey guys, when starting off with a new road bicycle (don't have road bikes, just have some older hardtail mountain bikes) my friend suggested that I spend as much as I am comfortable with to get a better bike so that I can continue using it in the future.
Yay or nay? Can you get too much bike to start with, as a beginner?
