Where did you pick up your Kurt Kinetic bcrdukes? I've read it's the best bike trainer on the market, but they're pricey.

I got mine from La Bicicletta on W. Broadway. They had the cheapest price in town for $365 or something. Most places sell for $399 etc. They aren't cheap - I agree but it really helped me when I first got back onto the bike after a 15 year hiatus.

Online prices are the same even in the US - just an FYI.

Does anyone happen to have any suggestions on foldable bikes? From my limited research I hear dahon is a great brand but I am looking for other people's opinions on a decent folding bike.

I'm sorry, your right until you have a bit of experience on a bike, then you notice right away. Bikes with good components last. Crisp shifts for more then a month, adjustability. Keep riding and you will figure it out quickly.

Spend $250 or more and receive a $50 promo gift card
Buy the Ventura race this time with the Team assist coupon and you would get the 20% off AND a $50 promo gift card. Not a bad deal.

What an awesome day for a ride!

This was taken on the Seaside pathway on the way to Granville Island.

From my earlier post I was wondering which computer to get, and I decided on the Cateye Wireless Strada cyclocomputer. It held up pretty well today.

Yeeuh CAAD10 army! I have a red one. I kinda wish I had the black, though, since red is so heaty and it makes me not want to leave it around.

Also, did anyone get hit by hail today?

Riding along River Road in Richmond, my group and I got absolutely soaked by 20 mins of heavy rain + hail during an otherwise clear day.

Hahaha! The bicycle... It's fast and quiet; perfect for a zombie apocalypse. =D
My saddle bag just holds my keys, wallet, spare tube, tire levers and a bike tool.

so true. scary moment for me today - was going through ubc and then i thought it'd be fun to see how fast i could go down that hill right after the highway (kits side), big ringed sprinted then tucked in and got up to 58+km/h (i was scared to look down and check after that) then i realized what would happen if i hit a patch of fine dirt or an unexpected bump in the road then i hit the brakes right away.

have to say it felt pretty good though lol felt like i was in Tron

Rode over the Burrard Bridge towards Pacific Ave. Midway, a man in his 50s or 60s blasts past me on his road bike.

Get a proper bike fit done. Right fit and right gear makes all the difference. I went from not riding a bike since I was a kid to being able to ride 120km a day easy.

Aiming for 160km+!

No worries, homie. My dad is 50+ and he's just as strong as me on the flats, but poops all over me in the hills.
