Okay, so far I have these people interested in the Garmin Edge 500:

1. Wormiez
2. hud91gt
3. OTG-ZR2
4. kayceeee
5. 604CEFIRO
6. TurboTalon
7. Ch28

I'm going to cut it off for now just so I can make sure that I have enough units. What would you guys say to a meet up instead of going to individual stores and getting them there? It would be easier than visiting 3-4 different stores to get enough units. We can meet at Marine and Byrne or something like that... sounds good?

Tubeless are clinchers. Tubeless runs typically have no spoke holes on the inner rim, and the bead lock is usually a tighter fit. Tubeless specific tires are also designed to minimize air leakage.

Gotem off Craigslist... the ad you threw up a week ago! Have to say, one of the better Craigslist transactions I've had. Guy switched to Conti 4000's and was selling his old stock. He said he'd burn thru couple pair of Race3's a season @ 2000km per set and needed more longevity.

The StansNoTubes can run both clincher (tubed) and tubeless, I'm going to run tubed as that's the tires I've got. Glueing sounds like a huge PITA anyways.

Holy, a couple pair per season? That's a lot! I put down ~ 2000km last season and there is still plenty of tread left.

Okay, for those interested in the Garmin GPS unit, I will get the units ahead of time and you guys can pay me back when we meet up. They will be $180 after tax and BC recycling levy. This way we avoid having to troop to 3-4 different stores to gather up the stuff...

How does meeting at Marine and Byrne at 7:30PM on Friday sound?

I work right by there, so the earlier the better, but since you're arranging all this then I'm down for whatever time even if I have to double back

Just an FYI guys - if you ever order through ProBikeKit.ca (it's a UK site) they include a tracking number even with their free shipping method! I *think* the free shipping threshold is at $30 or $40.

If I show up there at that time with money, can I get OTG-ZR2's Garmin? Because I can make it, but obviously, don't want to cockblock anyone from getting theirs. TIA.

I worked some magic and I have enough units for everyone so far, no need to be fighting over them.

So, here's the list for Friday:

1. bd0n
2. azncreationz
3. 604CEFIRO
4. kayceeee (possible)
5. Ch28
6. Wormiez

If you're not on the list or can't make it, let me know. Otherwise, see you guys Friday 7:30PM at Tim Hortons in the Marine & Byrne complex. For those who are meeting me another time other than Friday, PM me to arrange an alternate location and meeting time - though I think I PMed you guys already.
