If any of you are still looking for cycling jerseys/shorts/bib shorts, you may want to check out Marshalls on Marine Drive at Ontario. They just put out a bunch of stock! Brands include 2XU, Craft, Hincapie, Primal Wear, and Nalini! Some pretty good stuff for reasonable prices, and you don't have to wait for shipping. Yes, last year's stock, but still good none the less. When I went yesterday, still lots of selection, with mostly Medium & Large sizes. And yes, there were jerseys for the females as well (I checked). |
Just finished my first Triple Crown. Sucks i wasn't able to take any photos as I was too tired to even take out my phone and was conserving energy. Did Cypress first then Grouse and Seymour was last. Last mountain killed, I had to take breaks every 2 km mark and walked a bit between 8 km and 9 km. Past 8 km mark was too crazy. Thank god for triples. :fuckyea: Now time to take a 12 hr nap. Check out my Strava for more info. Bike Ride Profile | TRIPLE CROWN DONE near Vancouver | Times and Records | Strava |

Well, this pales in comparison to mc.jolaika but I did the Prospect Point Hill Climb in 4 minutes flat today. Last year, it would take me 7 to 8 minutes. :okay: |
^ Congrats! Your right on my heals time wise ATM. Did some CX riding today at Mundy Park, ended up going down this rugged wood and gravel stepped trail and all the crashing pushed my handle bars down. It was a little scary being clipped in and bombing down the steps to the bridge at the bottom. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-y...520_144846.jpg |

Probably makes no real difference but if any of you guys plan on buying apparel or accessories from Competitive Cyclist, you can use coupon code GIRO21. Valid May 4 to 26 only. Discount does not apply to certain brands and of course, bicycles. :okay: |
sucks that they ship with UPS... |

Hey guys, what shoes do you guys use? I am looking for SPD-compatible or SPD-SL compatible shoes that I can walk around in... I was at the Pearl Izumi outlet in Oregon and I didn't pull the trigger on Pearl Izumi Select Road shoes for $75. I'm kicking myself right now - they felt great and fit well, had 2 and 3-hole compatibility, and were pretty light. The only downside was that they sucked to walk around in because of the lack of soles, just two rubber bumpers. How do you guys find road-specific shoes to be for walking around in, for cafes and all that? |
