Edit: Gonna toot my own horn here but some jerk on a Norco CRR 3 told me to get off the road or keep up while I was commuting on E. 33rd Ave. (It was unprovoked.) Dropped the little bitch on the flats and a slight incline then watched him struggle. :fuckyea:

2 weeks ago, I placed an order from ChainReactionCycles on Tuesday, for x2 tires, totaling $40, they arrived on Thursday (2days later) via DHL, and I owed them $20 for brokerage.

Are there seriously "D BAGS" like this out there? that say stuff like this? Unprovoked.

I'm pretty darn new at this whole cycling thing, and if someone said something like that to me while riding, I don't even know what I'd do.

In my personal opinion and experience, there really is no point in retaliating because it would only provoke their behaviour. I didn't say anything and just let it slide and let the ride speak for itself but in all honesty, this is the first time it has ever happened where another rider told me off.

I'm not sure what the guy's problem was. I was basically stopped at Knight/Clark and E. 33rd Ave going eastbound. I crossed the intersection and he zooms past me and told me to get off the road or keep up.

best response is always to drop their ass and stare down as you do it

If anyone is looking for an easy ride loopgin around stanley park, some tri-training friends of mine do some training early. I don't do tri, but like cycling. The cycling leg starts at 8 am from the Second Beach parking lot (just north of the swimming pool). I can introduce some newer riders here interested in riding in packs.

May be early for some of you young ones... But that's when they go. Otherwise, I may ride in the afternoon if I can get away.

Sure, any suggestions on where? I can't do morning, have an appointment buy afternoon should be good?
