i ride with gloves for dat extra padding. you'll appreciate it on longer rides! mine also come with a soft section handy for wiping sweat and snot. mmm sexy so yeah try not to shake my hand with gloves on :toot: |
I'm pro glove. I wear full fingered ones on long rides but lately I've been going naked on my commute. The pair I use have grippy rubber on the finger tips, gives a nice feeling over the smooth levers. Also has a soft patch for snot. Which has been used lots lately cause of the flying-eye-gouging-cotton-fluff around now. |
+1 for the sweat section. Fingerless gloves for me. |
Using cycling gloves are for: 1) comfort - usually fingerless until It gets too cold to wear them 2) protection - when you go down 3) style - to match your kit I always wear them. Kind of like wearing a helmet Posted via RS Mobile |
chunk_stir - Serous question but do you race? I get the impression you do and/or you hang out with people who do. You seem to have some fancy toys! |

I'm almost certain that no one here (hopefully) will go to great lengths to cheat themselves when uploading strava rides... But here's a link to ... cheat strava. LOL Basically upload your tcx file, epo-boost your ride, and claim those KOM's hahahaha DigitalEPO.com original news post: Digital EPO: smash your Strava times? by cheating | road.cc | Road cycling news, Bike reviews, Commuting, Leisure riding, Sportives and more |
If you're cheating on your Strava times. You're doing it wrong. |
haha that reminds me of the time I was riding back home near Trout Lake. Saw some kid with a pedometer and all he did was do small bunny hops to increase the count on the meter. I'm like WTF You stupid fat fuck :fuckthatshit: |
Just finished Horseshoe Bay + Cypress... Sooo Hawt ugghhh. |
|
How appropriate haha |

... my friends to the next signpost! Seriously, no, never raced. I just have been riding a long time and enjoy riding (and talking about it). Over the years, been able to trade up my gear. I need all the help I can get! ;) |

lol I tried. Sprained ankle crashing into the side boards during hockey. On Sunday and the Saturday after did 95k ride. WA sore after but not too bad during the ride lol. Cuz feet r clipped in and not a lot of side movement. Just up and down. I probably won't do it again tho lol Posted via RS Mobile |
bcrdukes, I got my shipment from Probikekit. Your right the Chamois is a little weird. I picked up the Bib tights, and two of their jerseys. The jersey's are quite fitted, I maybe should have gone for an XL, but I will survive. I'm not sure I'm such a fan of the Jersey material though. Very "Scratchy". I'm hoping this softens up through the wash, or after a couple wears. I'll be keeping the whole shipment. I got nailed with 20 bucks in duty, did you? |
