Just finished watching "Breaking Away" on netflix. I'm sick at home with a cold, it's a classic moving about a kid and cycling. Not bad actually haha.

Which pumps are you guys using now? | Lezyne CNC Floor Drive pump. It has a reversible screw on chuck, a Presta speed chuck with a right angle bend and it goes up to 220PSI. It's so gorgeous I feel guilty using it to pump.
Finally figured out that I wasn't pumping hard enough... once I got the pump PSI to read past 140 it dropped down to 80 psi which makes sense in terms of where the tire would be after 2 weeks of not topping it up. Thanks for the tips guys!

What I meant was that when I kept on pumping to 140psi, the valve actually depressed and let the air in the hose into the tire, which was at 80psi. The 140psi was a false reading because it was reading the pressure in the hose instead of the tires. My tires were at 80 psi originally, but now are at 120psi.
I pumped the tires up to 120psi because I'm a heavier fellow... Posted via RS Mobile |

I have to use the air compressor at work to get 115 psi. My home job stops at 100.

Actually I think it's climbing it 10 times from my estimates from strava. 600m gain each climb up. Have to do it twice each day at least.
That's what I'm aiming to do. Drive out and park near the base and climb it back to back each day Posted via RS Mobile |

Just looking At my strava records, my last ride from qe park to cypress Nd back was 1500
M climbing. If I I do lower hill circuits in british propertiesx, I did 1200 m climbing. So that's where I got my estimates from. Good goal to stretch for. Good training for triple crown too. Posted via RS Mobile |

Strava Nut Huggin' Fail.
I went to throw down a PR on prospect point climb... 1st lap i rode at my gf's pace.
2nd lap, I went balls deep. I hit the hair pin left and hammered it up the hill at 28-33km/hr. I held that speed up until the 1st slight right... and thats when i mega BONK. My heart rate reached 194bpm, and it felt like i was staring down a tunnel that was closing in on me... I thought i was gonna pass out. lol.
As I reached prospect point i knew i had set at least a PR...
Go home and download it onto the comp... Low and behold, it didn't even record the prospect point segment! I was so disappoint.
I did record another segment similar: Prospect Climb - 1st turn to Canteen - 78th / 1925 - 26.5km/h - 192bpm - 2:11
The persuit of < 3 mins continues..

Haha... Strava probably saw your BPM, and automatically disabled itself to save from another lawsuit. Shitty deal though man, I feel for you. Hopefully I can get back on the bike this week as I've been fighting a killer cold.

your uphill speed is my downhill speed
so on saturday, went back to pms for my second part of the fitting, changed to narrower bars and longer stem
heres the new cockpit, got the 3T stem and pro handlebars right from john.
went to stanley park after and rode around downtown, 54 clicks, the narrower bars felt a lot better, didnt smash any records on PP climb, but it felt good to just do hill repeats n not worry about time.
like 604cefiro, it only registerd 2 of 4 climbs but felt good just keep on doing it.

I might have to run the cell phone and Garmin now when riding through Stanley. This partial coverage is not acceptable!

Ah, okay. Had me fooled.
Truth be told, I only use a 44cm because of a personal preference. I was okay with 42cm but 44 was more comfortable.
