This may be a silly question....
do your feet touch the ground when your sitting on the saddle?

No, it shouldn't. How tall are you?

In the end, I recommend getting a fitting (although I'm sure a lot of guys here can help you with a basic fit.)

Go for a ride when you can and take note of what works and what doesn't. Don't make too many changes at once because even the slightest change will make the biggest difference!

Usually you should be just barely able to tip toe the ground when sitting on the saddle. Just generally speaking though

I pitter pattered for the longest time but I finally got the Ritchey Classic stem for my Cinelli. The original one by Cinelli was 90mm and was just too short. And damn it, only Ritchey makes a polished aluminum one! WTF?!?!

Spoiler!

Happy Canada day celebrations fellow cyclists lol

Today's cypress ride was probably the most challenging ever. Not only was it hot as hell, I got swarmed by bees half way up... Attracted to my gaterade, nut bars, and Burt's bees honey Chapstick.

I was very close to turning around lol

Hope you gentlemen got some quality riding time.

Just left salmon festival in steveston. The place is blown out. So many ppl

Me and a few buddies did the Canada Day Populaire out in Langley. Awesome ride except for the heatwave. Burnt lines for a few days.

Bike Ride Profile | Day Rand. Ride - freakin hot - awesome ride near Langley | Times and Records | Strava

Some photos from today

At the last stop. Really good ice cream

after the ride.

I'm pretty gassed from the long week of riding but decided last minute to attempt one last ride before the end of the long weekend. Did the Prospect Point Hill Climb starting just before the first curve at the bottom to the top where the rest stop is. I'll round it up to 3 minutes and 45 seconds. 15 second improvement from last time.

Must have been a fluke. Any way, mandatory Canada Day colours picture.

thx for the heeling vibes. I should be able to get back on the bike for some easy spinning in 2 weeks or so. But probably no long distances or hard riding for a couple months
