Preference aside, the reality is I'm simply not tall enough to use 172.5mm arms. I'm also not strong enough to ride standard crank (53/39.) I had FSA Energy cranks on my Diamondback and I didn't mind it despite the flack people give FSA.
The frame itself is "okay." If you want, I can sell you the frame for $600. The entire bike was dirty as fuck and I washed and waxed it earlier this evening.

Went for my first mtb ride of the season and was surprised at how great my legs felt the entire ride. I'm guessing it's a result of climbing on my road bike with a standard crank; when I have low gears on the mtb I can sit and spin and it feels effortless. It was a nice change to be in the forest bombing some rowdy singletrack too.

Yeah, he needs to up his game. His main contenders are Cavendish, and the guys from Lotto-Belisol. I think it would be great to even see one stage win for him. Orica-Greenedge has a pretty good strategy and team this year with some deadly sprinters like Goss.

I think I'm officially done. Took 3 weeks off, got a follow up fitting to adjust seat. Knee pain still returning. Almost unbearable sometimes. Did a measly 40k before I had to call it quits.
^That sucks dude. There is some exercises you can do to strengthen other parts of the leg etc which may help. Stop riding, and do some google searchin'.
