i find fenders are only good for preventing mud butt. did the ride last year in the pouring rain and fenders on other bikes were next to useless! no mud butt for you = mud face for me ze fenders zey do nohsing! https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/i...eUYj8fbcXxHf3z |
Like steve said most fenders only save your own ass, anyone behind will still eat dirt. If you do the pacific populaire rides, most people have no fenders in the rain and fenders aren't required. I'm not exactly sure if whistler fondo specifies but I can almost garauntee no fender requirement Quote:

Anyone building their 'Italian' bike? Then you might require one of these Campagnolo cable guides. Come get one, free. I've too many. Silver bike frame not included (unless you give me $200 for the cable guide, then you can have a brand new free Cramerotti bike frame):) http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...ps014f675a.jpg http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...psea43dfba.jpg |
What size is the frame? :) Dedacciai tubing? |
Is this cypress thing still happening for realz? |

Does any body have an extra cone headset spacer/topcap they don't want or need? I could use one for my new mtb build. |

Like Steve said earlier, 9:30am @ 2120 Cambie (VPD Station) on the South end of Cambie bridge. We'll probably hang around there until 9:45am, I am assuming. Tipy, YGPM |

Just an FYI, after taking the kit out for a few rides, I've come to this conclusion: 1. The chamois is not bad. It's pretty good, probably better than my entry-level DeMarchi bib shorts. For the $30/40 jersey bib kit, one cannot complain. 2. Fitment can be weird. You may get lucky and that there are no flaws but otherwise, there can be a few inches of strange variances here and there. 3. The fabric overall does not breath well. But again, you get what you pay for and it's dirt cheap if you don't care. It can get pretty hot. TL;DR version: Fabric doesn't breath well. Is an awesome deal because it's cheap and chamois is pretty good. |
When froome wins tomorrow our fake jerseys will double in value. Once mine arrives ill flip it for $60/ set to someone on CL lol Posted via RS Mobile |
