Anyone have these?

Even easier actually. They just slide into the slot.

dink 07-27-2013 10:18 PM

did you buy one size up? or followed their sizing chart.

bcrdukes 07-27-2013 10:19 PM

Tastygo right? I got the same email. I already ordered fakdarlocks so I'll be waiting for those to arrive.

Bike experts!

Anyone know where to find good bikes on the cheap? I'm tired of buying bikes from Crappy tire and having them fail on me after 6 months. I'm looking to spend around $2-300, but if I need to go over then so be it. If vintage or used, then that's cool too, I'm just looking for something that'll last me and my larger than average frame.

Thanks!

Finished my novice training race in Aldergrove today. Still not worthy of CAT C :okay:

Road or CX racing?

dton13 07-28-2013 06:46 PM

CAADX Disc?

I'm glad to see more disc road bikes. They're still at a weight disadvantage, but are great for my purposes. I've decided to splurge and get a new roadie and my search for 2013 models with discs were very limited (pretty much spesh only within my price range). Will be buying a 2014 model instead!

^ it's a cyclocross bike

604CEFIRO 07-28-2013 07:04 PM

So my gf and i are in penticton for a couple days. If you guys make it up here, theres Kettle Valley Rail trail that's pretty cool. its long. There are some paved parts, mostly a trail of crushed gravel packed down.

you'd want a mtb, touring bike, or cross bike for the trail.

we checked it out, but opted for paved roads lol

Perfect timing, gf & I are heading up there in a couple weeks. Were there any wineries you passed by via the trail?

It was a Escape Velocity sanctioned road race. A LOT of strong riders even in the Novice class.

604CEFIRO 07-28-2013 07:59 PM

Yes the trail goes thru some wineries in Naramata

Google maps and turn in bike route and ull see it cuts thru a couple in Naramata

We are heading up that way tomorrow

It was a novice race training class. Pretty much to bring you up to speed on riding in a peloton and some sprints within the peloton. It was a no drop ride.
