Bike experts!
Anyone know where to find good bikes on the cheap? I'm tired of buying bikes from Crappy tire and having them fail on me after 6 months. I'm looking to spend around $2-300, but if I need to go over then so be it. If vintage or used, then that's cool too, I'm just looking for something that'll last me and my larger than average frame.
Thanks!

CAADX Disc?
I'm glad to see more disc road bikes. They're still at a weight disadvantage, but are great for my purposes. I've decided to splurge and get a new roadie and my search for 2013 models with discs were very limited (pretty much spesh only within my price range). Will be buying a 2014 model instead!

So my gf and i are in penticton for a couple days. If you guys make it up here, theres Kettle Valley Rail trail that's pretty cool. its long. There are some paved parts, mostly a trail of crushed gravel packed down.
you'd want a mtb, touring bike, or cross bike for the trail.
we checked it out, but opted for paved roads lol http://www.kettlevalleyrailtrail.com/cycling-the-kvr/ |

Sounds interesting! Posted via RS Mobile | It was a novice race training class. Pretty much to bring you up to speed on riding in a peloton and some sprints within the peloton. It was a no drop ride.
