for the guys that have experience with Look and Shimano spd-sl pedals, is there a noticeable difference in terms of engagement technique/feel?

I've had my damn look keo max's sitting in my drawer for months and I'm going to make an effort to get my fit/tune this weekend. Just want to know what I'm in for when I get them installed!

I think between the Shimano SPD-SL and the Look they will be very similar. They use a similar mechanism from what I can see when my friend uses his pedals and from looking at them.

I'm very happy with my Look Keo 2 Max pedals when compared to my old SPD non-SL pedals as they engage smoother and provide a bigger platform to transfer power. They are also easier to get it and out of compared to the SPD.

Yup. Someone posted it a page or so back. You can also save more by buying SportChek gift cards as well as using Team Assist coupons to bring it down even further to sub $300.

What a big mistake driving to Cypress is. I got down, and my knees were killing. Proper warm up required!

i think i read somewhere that they can, even underage ones even though theres alcohol. if not then our gf's are screwed waiting around lol. i think just parts of or like maybe the food etc are only for participants.

I pushed myself pretty hard today.

Bike Ride Profile | Last ride before Fondo & Flat tire. near Coquitlam | Times and Records | Strava

Met a fellow at the top of Cypress with a beautiful bike. Complete Dura-ace groupo. His frame is worth more than my entire bicycle.
