Does anybody have an extra front brake caliper? Shimano 105 level and up, or SRAM Apex level and up. Don't need pads The Cervelo needs the longer front brake mounting bolt to mount up the rear brake, and I haven't found any place sells just the mounting bolt so I can retrofit my current brake. |
Friend did the New Brighton CX race and said it was intense and painful haha Posted via RS Mobile |

Strava has a new route builder similar.to what Garmin has. Its suppose to pull data from other Strava riders to give you the best route or something. I'm at work so I haven't had time to play around with it. Posted via RS Mobile |
Budget bike got a tune up today. New chain, and new tires/tubes. Not sure if the setup is tacky, or just awesome but it is a claimed 1/2lb lighter now with the new setup. Hopefully see a difference tomorrow on my last ride prior to Haleakala. Cheaper Vittoria Zaffiro Pro's/Vittoria lightweight tubes and a New 105 chain. |

So I posted my bike on Craigslist. Someone asked me about the condition of my bike. Then I received this... Obviously a scam lol Who falls for this anymore?? ------- "Thanks for your response,Can you assure me that is in good state and that i will not be disappointed with it,i am an oceanographer and i am ready to buy this ,And i can only pay through PayPal at the moment as i do not have access to my bank account online, but i have it attached to my PayPal account, and this is why i insisted on using PayPal to pay,all i will need is your PayPal email address to make the payments.and also the address where the item will be picked up because am arranging for the pick up.So as soon as the funds is cleared in your account, they will come for the pick up. Please write me back today. Regards." Posted via RS Mobile |
It's a rough time to be selling right now if you're hoping to get decent returns, off season is when the bargain hunters come out and lowball while the buyers who would pay fair value are usually caught up in winter activities. Great time to buy though :) And the scammers are out year round lol |
