Any of you looking to purchase a Rapha Pro Team Jersey?

They just released a Pro Team Bundle (jersey, bib, socks).

I'm interested in the bibs and socks, but not the jersey.

The discount on the package is 15%, but I have an additional 10% off.

So the retail price on the jersey is $250.00, but after the 15% and 10%, the jersey would cost $191.25CDN + tax.

Anyone interested?

been doing some spin classes as well. definitely, some eye candy in my class :ahwow: definitely, enough for me to keep going (to keep the legs fresh) this winter.

50% OFF Rapha Team Sky items.

Team Sky | Rapha

- Rapha jeans $160
- Sky pro team bibs $175

and u can still add 10% off on top. good deals!

dat_steve 11-15-2013 08:52 AM

for the guys with rapha jeans:

does the dye rub off at all? I just worry they'd rub off on my white saddle on my commutes.

604CEFIRO 11-15-2013 08:57 AM

Negative, never had that happen to me on my white saddles

just wash the jeans once at least?

[edit]

man... rapha nut huggers are eating up the stock so fast! lol... i always sit here and add 999 of whatever item to my basket, then remove it. then check back in 5 minutes, and the stock level goes down a few... In the last 15 minutes, 10 bibs have been sold... Rapha makes BANK lol

Anyone buy from EVANS CYCLES in UK before?

Rapha Team Sky Clothing | Team Sky | Evans Cycles

Their pricing on Rapha Sky stuff is WAY cheaper... They don't charge CDN tax at check out, but I'm wondering if i would get uber raped when it comes through canada customs...

[edit]

Just placed an order. RIDICULOUS deal on pro team stuff... Jersey for $90.00 instead of $250.00 retail.

Evans cycles sends you a $5gbp coupon when u sign up to their website with a new email, so it further reduced the 50% off sale price.

i went on friday after work and got there just shy of 6pm, just to check it out knowing theres probably not much leftover, and of course not much in terms of sizes, most stuff i need small or medium, most of the bibs were XXL, i went this morning since it wasnt raining, got there at about 915, already a line up, im guessing about 30 people or so. opened at 10, got in and theres more stuff but still very rare to find shorts, jerseys and jackets were plentiful, same with boxes of accessories. i even had to ask a girl about the two bibs that i had, to see which is better and even she was shocked i had found a small size bib and even medium, most were L-XXL when i was there, left around 1120 or so and there was still a line up outside. contemplated about the two bibs as the higher model the RS was a small size, and the evolution was a medium, medium fitted well but the RS was a bit tight, mind you this is with a tshirt and boxers underneath, but ended up getting both since its rare to find my size.

got myself the Midzero bib tight, RS bib short, Evolution bib Short, Subzero arm warmers, two pair of gloves (one open and closed), a pair of socks. Came to 173.60 after taxes, not bad considering the RS bib short is 175$ MSRP on their site. Total cost of the goods on their website would be roughly 653 after taxes. :fullofwin:

now im sorta ready to ride in the cold..sorta..

not sure if i should head back and look for some shoe covers and fleece cap.

Anyone have the team sky toque? Reviews?

604CEFIRO 11-17-2013 08:46 AM

the thing that can double as a neck warmer? I probably wouldnt be using it to ride, it appears pretty thick... probably too big of a piece to be used as a neck warmer.. and too big to be worm under a helmet

distanc3 11-17-2013 05:11 PM

Ops I should've linked it.

Here it is: Team Sky Merino Hat | Rapha

I lined up 2 hours to get into Sugoi last year, and then another hour to pay after finding/trying my stuff for size. Never again.

Went for last day today with no line, pretty much ransacked, but I got most of my important stuff last year. Got a sleeveless, shortsleeve and longsleeve jersey, and leg warmers. $40 total

Re base layers, I use the Costco merino long sleeve t's, they are usually sold from Sept-Oct for $20, they may still be around at some Costco's. The merino isn't the finest, its just a bit scratchy if you're sitting around and trying to nitpick about them, but for $20 you can't complain.

604CEFIRO 11-17-2013 08:44 PM

I wear merino base layers. No, no arm warmers on top.

It's getting colder now, so depending on temp's, u'll need to layer / put on a jacket.

What are you wearing for rides in this weather? 0*-10* ?

i havent been riding since basically the fondo lol

because all the stuff i have is summer gear, but i've gotten a bib tight and some arm warmers, and i went back today and got a firewall 180 jacket. trying to get enough pieces to sorta go back out and ride.
