Lol I have since removed it and it stays in my backpack. Not so much worries about being aero, rather than surviving pushing 48/17 into a headwind on an incline. Just thinking about it makes my quads twitch |
im guessing u carry a wrench for the axel bolts? in case of flats and flipping hub? cant tell if u have a flipflop hub ... one side you have a 17t, whats the other side? Quote:

I have 2 rear wheels. 48/17 fixed/18free. Then a 18fixed/16 free |
anyone have a size small 51/52cm ETT road bike for sale? Thanks! |
Smith Optics to introduce their first road helmets! Looks pretty slick like the sworks evade http://ep1.pinkbike.org/p4pb11105293/p4pb11105293.jpg |
Nice |
A bit too skeletal and tron-like for me I saw a pic with the smith optics sunglasses somehow mounted on the front of the helmet. appeared to be designed to clip on [edit] here it is... http://cdn.mos.bikeradar.com/images/...a2-960-540.jpg from that angle, the middle of the smith optics helmet resembles those classic leather helmet caps from back in the day... http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/o...visiol1-v6.jpg |
i dig the retro look. my inner hipster compels me. bcrdukes where u at?! |
I never knew there was a bike forum until today! So great to see so many cycling enthusiasts on RS. I myself am a Cannondale junky and love the Bad Boy series. I am slowing building up another Cannondale as my other one that I loved with all my heart and soul was stolen from my backyard several months back. In case anyone is interested, I purchase a Specialized S-Works carbon saddle and 29er carbon rigid fork to install on my Cannondale but changed my mind. Both are brand new. The VPD just busted a theft ring, perhaps you want to contact them to see if your bike was part of the stolen property? A long shot, but worth a try. Vancouver house raid nets huge haul of stolen goods | CTV Vancouver News Mind telling us where/when//how your bike was stolen? Just so the rest of us can learn from it and to avoid it. Will keep an eye out for your bike. |
@lowpao nice bike. I may be interested in joining your night rides. You guys do 35-40 kms at night because damn I only do a total of 8 kms to and from work. Where do you guys bike around? |
"bike rave" this weekend - who's going?! 2015 caad10 to have disk brakes and internal routing - what?! |

Lol even as a big proponent of road discs, I have to admit I was surprised they decided to put discs on the CAAD series so soon. Seems like Cannondale is going all in w/ road disc. |
I thought bike rave was next weekend... And I'm going. Yes the new CAADs look great with the disk and internal routing! I still like my CAADX. Its not as neat of a disk setup as the new stuff but this bike takes a beating being a commuter and CX bike! Tempting though! |
Yes, I believe Bike Rave is next weekend as well, I was going to go, but I'll be in the States during that time. Anyone need anything bike specific from USA? I'll be hitting at least one bike shop. Time to update, got a few more bikes recently (Hey, I got rid of some too). Who wants a bike??? http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...psf9e1f897.jpg 2011 Opus Flux (just sold) http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...ps68898914.jpg 2012 Trek Marlin 29'er 19", need to sell this one! Who wants? http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...ps65ed3b58.jpg 2001 Rocky Mountain Hammer Race, yes it's just a frame, for now. Anyone got some XTR parts they want to off-load? Told ya, I love my RM's! http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...psa1094ef7.jpg 1998 Marin Hawk Hill, who wants a beater bike??? 100 bones, ride it away. Has a Marzocchi Bomber shock on there. (since sold) http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...psd9043961.jpg 1995 Trek 1500, considered vintage yet? I was proud of this find, all original components. http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...ps270eca90.jpg 2010 Cannondale Hooligan 8. Been looking for a Hooli like forever! Finally found one for my collection! Super fun to ride around on! All these years, I've never actually owned a Cannondale, and this past week, I got 2 (the other Cannondale is a old M400 Cad3 frame waiting to be built). Guess because of my injury, been busy working/fixing/selling/trading bikes and logging very few bike miles! Hope that changes soon! |
Anyone interested in a brand new 6800 ultegra component set? (11/25 170mm crank arm) http://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/1593433/ |

One thing to consider that is non subjective is that "new" ultegra (6800) is 11-speed, and considered to be the closest in performance to Dura-Ace groups in a while. The Roubaix's 105 is most likely 5700 and only 10-speed. That's assuming that they're both 2014 models. |
