Ya I'm not too stoked on the prospect of ruining my bike, which I know isn't so much a question of if, but when. But I am really interested to at least try racing (road, not crit).
I'm going to ask an old co-worker when I see her next week for advice. She started racing last year and is killin' it now. Quote:

Took my 4 year old son to the bmx track for the first time...we had a blast! He was on his run bike and killed it, even ate dirt a few times and got right back up. I was on my Spec Enduro which wasn't a good fit, and now has me wanting a dj/urban hardtail so I can pump.

The Clug bike mount is super simple to install, and works like a charm.
Install is simple. If it's going into drywall or brick, you have to drill 2 holes, and then insert the supplied anchor into the drywall, then screw the bracket into the anchors.
If you're installing into a stud, then no need for anchor. Positives:
- easy install (drill 2 holes)
- easy to use
- works as intended
- no stress on your bike when mounted (doesn't hold bike via top tube like most other bike racks, clips onto your tire and doesn't even touch your rim) Negatives:
- instructions said use a 3/16 drill bit, but the anchor would barely fit into a hole that size, causing me to kind of fuck up one of the supplied anchors b/c i bent it trying to force it into the drilled hole... In hindsight I would have used a 1/4" drill bit
- I can see durability (of your wall) being an issue if the drywall this is going into is of poor quality (aged/worn etc)

| Specialized Venge 54cm
If this is a legit 11r venge frame, I wish I had the room to keep another bike. I question if it is legit because a deal on CL too good to be true probably is.

Team riders will not use a Cannondale C3 stem on an Spesh Venge... LOL
Could always ask them to bring it into a Specialized dealer (Caps New West) and verify.

The frame looks pretty legit, but the sworks logo looks fake lol.
Other than the stem... the venge top cap/spacer looks like its sitting on top of a regular spacer or a misproperly sized headset bearing. And the rear der housing is super short. Odd set up.

A little birdie told me that 2014 Guru Flite carbon frame sets are on sale between $950 - $1100 at Pacific Multisport. Various sizes available. I am unsure of in-store availability.
Frameset only. No cockpit, groupset, and or wheelsets etc.

Anyone want some BMX projects??? I just don't have time for them.
4 various 20" BMX frames/forks in various states of disrepair/repair. Might be able to throw in some wheels and tires too.
$25 takes everything. Must take it all please!
Included in there is a CHROME KUWAHARA FRAME w/FORK! That's more than worth the price of admission alone. No photos right now, as I'm not home. Would make a great project for your little siblings, or kids, or yourself!
PM me if interested.
ALL GONE!

Anyone need a set of bars for your build? Or perhaps you want to try out a different width or drop. I've got a number to get rid of, most are brand new, never installed. A couple are used with tape residue. All are alloy (no carbon ones here). May have slight scratches from moving/storage, but will not affect performance and won't be noticed once wrapped in bar tape. Both 26mm & 31.8mm clamp ones. Let me know what you're looking for & I'll see if I have it; I have more than what's pictured! Flat/riser bars in various widths as well. Various prices, or trade me something that I need.
I want my bed back!
