Went into my order page on Wiggle and I don't see any tracking number either.

Looks like we're getting screwed together bcrdukes :lol

bcrdukes 04-11-2013 09:34 PM

Where did we go wrong?! :alone:

Spaceship_coupe 04-11-2013 10:31 PM

I finally got my order from wiggle and I got hit with taxes upon delivery. :(

I think they give a tracking number with free shipping when you order oversize items. My past two orders have been larger items ie bar and fork.

How much was your order? How much was tax?

Spaceship_coupe 04-11-2013 10:52 PM

Will-$290 and I got taxed $32. My first order was $140 and no taxes.

bcrdukes 04-11-2013 10:58 PM

Frankly, that is not bad!

I'm sure you would have had to pay 1.5x more if you bought locally! :D

Placed an order yesterday morning to wake up to a 20% off discount (off entire purchase) if you buy anything from "dhb" over $50.

Emailed them for price adjustment so hope they do it or I'll be pissed.

UnDeadMage 04-13-2013 01:05 AM

hey so i notice most of you have saddle bags and i was wondering what do you put into it for rides? like there should be a multitool and inner tubes. what inner tubes do you guys typically use for road bikes?

OTG-ZR2 04-13-2013 01:28 AM

I have a leatherman style multi-tool with bits to fit the different size hex/torx fasteners on my bike, tube and soon a co2 inflator.

I also keep the battery pack for my headlamp in my bag.

OTG-ZR2 04-13-2013 01:53 AM

I installed my headlight and damn this thing is bright! Great bang for the buck with this light. I rode home my usual route, which is basically CX territory and the light didn't flicker once, unlike my last two I purchased for $25 and $50.

New headlight:

Old headlight:

The only thing I can fault the light on is the mounting bracket isn't the correct diameter for my handle bars. It's made for 1" bars but mine are 1.25" where I have to mount it.

But after a couple strokes with a half round file...

UFO 04-13-2013 03:02 AM

Nice. I'd say its almost impossible to beat it for 30 bucks

604CEFIRO 04-13-2013 03:38 AM

Multi tool. Tire patches. Tire boot. 2 tubes. 2 tire levers. Co2 canister. Adaptor.

You need enough to get urself home :)

I think there are as many mountain bike/CX guys on here except they're hiding in the closet (or out riding when us roadies are too pussy to.) :(

Ch28 04-13-2013 11:56 AM

I just don't see how they can't make a price adjustment after the order has been shipped out.

I've done that with so many other online companies before. The thing that pisses me off even more, is that he said it was shipped by the time he got to the email. There was 20 hours in between when I sent the email, and when I received a response.
