Did you buy Fizik bar tape?
Try Cinelli next time. I didn't know what the rage was until I tried the ones that came on my stock bike.
You can buy them at Strada Cycles

I took off my Prologo cork bar tape to try something a little bit thinner.
I bought the fizik superlight bar tape made of microtex... Feels really thin. It's gonna be interesting to see how much road buzz goes into my hands and arms tomorrow
I'm kind of pissed tho since the fizik end plugs don't fit into my handlebar correctly I couldn't bend and stuff any of the tape into the opening. I hope it doesn't unravel. I made the fizik plugs fit into the hole, but couldn't get any of the tape into the hole

mixed emotions about my ride today
managed to get 15k outside of squamish and as soon as we turn a corner around a mountain side on the sea to sky we see a fucking massive cloud system dumping rain. we decide to hightail it back so we don't get stuck in the system and manage to get to Lions Gate before it starts pouring and hailing with nasty headwinds. so yeah i arrive home soaked with my freshly cleaned and tuned bike now squeaking in the cranks. pissed off!
bright side is that was my first metric century of the year |

That seat was exclusive to Cannondale for several years before it was released for sale as part of their 2013 line. Overall a good saddle that conforms to a majority of people. It isn't the lightest saddle but comfort and fit is great.
10x better than my Specialized Toupe.

Who is looking for Cinelli bar tape? I've 2 boxes unused, but 1 box is yellow, and the other is camo-yellow. Willing to trade for w.h.y?
Anyone looking for an absolute beater mountain bike? Size large. Don't ask me what brand/model, as I don't know under 20 layers of black electrical tape. Most likely some dept. store junk, as it has steel wheels. Again, willing to trade for w.h.y.

Wrapped my gf's Specialized bike with fizik soft touch black bar tape with silver logos. Looks and feels awesome! No issues with plug fitment. The black soft touch is so much nicer than the white soft touch
I think I might switch things up on my bike and go black fizik arione saddle with black bar tape instead of white/white Posted via RS Mobile |

What made you decide to go from white/white to black/black?
I'm curious because on my Diamondback, I had a white/white setup but the tape got dirty fast and so did the saddle. Black just hides everything.

My bike is mainly black, with white logo decals, and blue trim. The white on white matches well with the white decals.
But I think black on black would look good too
I'm not too concerned about the seat getting dirty. I've put my current white seat thru hell and back and it's still pretty white.
My white cork tape got pretty grubby tho Posted via RS Mobile |
