factory alarm. they recovered it out of a garage of a new development about 30 blocks from my place, 4800 block of knight st.

took my factory rims/tires, gps without windshield mount. threw my switchblade from the console into the back seat not knowing what it was. stole my ashtray full of change, and a crapload on change from the console

its amazing how easy they stole it, they drilled 2 small holes I'll post pics later

I dont have it the cop that recovered the vehicle kept it.

@ Mike,

yeah it is a bad thing. I've already negotiated with my brother to take over the truck, not too many people are brave enough to go steal from the rez. In the meantime ill be driving the wife's old 90 lude if I can fit in it haha

The cop probably put the switchblade in his pocket and took it home.Next time, carry a legal knife so the cops cannot take it away.

Good to hear you got your truck back,I just don't get how drilling two holes can start the vehicle.

I don't care about the knife, I shouldn't have left it in the truck but I forgot it.

I didn't get it either but look at the pic. It looks like they broke whatever stops the entire ignition from turning

Your lucky the cops did not charge you with possesion of a illegal weapon, then again, they would have to prove it was yours to begin with.

I keep a knife in my car,but it's well hidden,I had my car searched a few times and the cops have never found it.

im sorta worried how 1 or 2 guys can walk around Vancouver, with what im assuming is a cordless drill and a 1/8th inch bit on it, and No One Notices... or the sound of a car getting drilled out. i have some nosy ass neighbors... they call me and ask me if everything is okay if i go out @ midnight to get something from my car...

did your car have a factory immobilizer?

So does that mean you will be getting your wheels back,or the cops holding them for evidence?

These crooks have balls of steel to be jacking cars on a rez.

he wouldn't have to prove it was mine, I told him it was mine. I told him he could keep it or give it back if he was feeling generous. needless to say I didn't get it back
