Nope, original insight actually came in 5 speed also.
So basically, the first ever hybrid car that came into production was a 5 speed.

wouldnt be a bad car to have if the price is right. gas mileage will be great and like all hondas it will be reliable

oops my bad
when i test drove the insight the sales never offer me manual and gave me an auto instead...so i thougth it's auto only :S

I think if they price this car at ~18k, it will sell pretty well. Anything higher, it will be stealing business with the insight. Or if it's priced at the prius, no one will buy it since the prius is much nicer inside and out.

The US version will not have the back seats. This is a jdm one. Same thing with the jdm crx which had back seats. Pretty much useless but at least you can use it as storage or something.
