Autolismo FTW

Haven't had them(4300k) long enough to speak of longevity, but dealings with Thomas were excellent and I'm more than happy with the output colour.

Ugg.... unless you plan on putting it into a proper projector housing, I'm going to kick and scream. I fucking hate having to deal with HID's in halogen reflector housings. Anything over 6k is tacky, has poor light output (it's even worse in the rain than you'd expect), and just annoying. But not as annoying as the goddamn glare and random light patterns that everyone else bitches about.

You all should just be glad I'm not a traffic cop... You'd hate me so much.

notice its pure white and the cut-off adds colour. This is the way it should be done.

go OEM, or don't bother. Your either blinding other drivers or throwing light everywhere.

Projectors ftw.
beautiful retrofit on that, perfect cut-off beam pattern!

No receipt, but he gives you a "warranty card".

shenmecar: You still haven't told me your email address or warranty number. I am willing to exchange the ballast for you. I don't want people here to think I don't honor my warranty.

As I'm reading this
Quote:
I bought two bulbs from Thomas, it works as it should. Has 1 year warranty. Turned out my ballast was dying too so I tried contacting him again to see if I can buy ballasts off him too, but he never replied any of my emails after buying his bulbs.

It looks like the ballast wasn't bought from you,but he wanted to get a ballast from you, since he mentions the bulbs as being "from Thomas" and "his bulbs",but never refers to the ballasts in such a way.His concern is that having dealt with him buying the bulbs,he couldn't get in touch to make continued deallings.

I just got some 6000k bulbs from him (well, my friend helped me pick them up) ... his 6000k bulb seems brighter (from what I see) than the ones from my smarteye kit lol
