Which weight gainers are you guys taking? And what works best?
I recently bought Iso Mass xtreme gainer chocolate milk and it tastes HORRIBLE. Everytime after i take the shake, i gag and even puked. Even chest hurts after drinking. I don't recommend this shit. This shit will get u pimples on ur back, puke, fart, diarhea lol

weight gainers are garbage
just eat food, supplement with protein shakes. Whey PWO. Or just get a time release protein shake so you can drink it anytime without worrying about whey's insane absorption rate.
lol if the taste is that bad just hold your nose when you drink it. After you're done drink or eat something else to remove the taste from your mouth.
that's what I do with cottage cheese and the current trueprotein recession whey I have.

best way is to eat. but if u want a gainer then try.
Quick Mass. chocolate is pretty good. cookie and creme is alright. i mix it with water
or BSN's TRUE MASS. most flavours taste like mcdonalds milkshake. i mix this with milk

I make my own weight gainer. Whey protein + oats + bananas + milk. Ohh yea and like others have mentioned.....with real food as well.

quick mass or real mass is pretty good tasting... i like real mass more. i dont take weight gainers anymore but I use the myofusion version which is like the same stuff with less calories.
isomass is pretty bad i tried the cookies and cream one and couldnt finish it. |

lol im in a deficit right now at ~2000 Cals/ day
and I actually prefer this (at least right now) because trying to eat 3000 Cals clean is fuckin hard, assuming you're trying to hit your macros as accurately as possible. I hate carbs. Everything I liked to eat in the past was usually high GI.

Don't bother with weight gainers,just eat food.
I tried & wasted alot of money on that shit when I was young,nothing beats a steak or chicken breast.
If you insist on weight gainers,go with strawberry or vanilla flavour,they seen to taste alot better than chocolate.....chocolate is the worst tasteing.

90% of the stuff sold in stores nowadays is just hype,the amount that they cost and the very small gains seen,or if any gains at all from using the stuff is not worth it,it's a total waste of money,and it's just that,designed to take you money.
I have been working out for many years,tried alot of shit,but only a very small handfull of the stuff actually works.The best way to see good gains in weight training boils down to one imporatant thing.......knowledge.

im still a noob at eating carbs. because I'm cutting weight, I am almost OCDing about high GI carbs.
seems like everytime i find something in the glycemic index that's under 55, I see a diff glycemic index that has it over 55. like potatoes, certain oatmeals (quaker oats for instance).
I know some pastas are good maybe I should start eating those more.

Pasta is one of the best foods you can eat for energy,rice comes in at a close second.
It will take about 2 days for your body to convert the pasta into energy,when it does,you will notice the difference in your workouts.

2 cups milk, 2 scoops lean fit whey, 1 cup of frozen fruit 2/3cup of oatmeal, sometimes i add peanut butter
