^^ thats what i though too. only reason for people working valet seems like a deadend job to me other than for the above reason along.
I never valet but i though ppl would know you car being ripped on is the price one pays for being lazy

my friend worked as a valet, he said the tips were amazing on a regular basis. basically, if you tip well, chances are your car will be treated better. of course, there's guys who treat your car like shit regardless lol...

hell, at dealerships lot boys rip up the new cars all the time. used ones get beat even worse. i know a certain someone who redlined a brand new car on every gear 10 minutes before delivery | BS, if one of my lot kids drove like a fucking idiot in a customers car or even a used car hed be on his ass out the door pretty quik, i cant imagine a dealership allowing that kind of thing to happen

there's plenty of things that no one sees happening at dealerships. and you're assuming here that only lot boys abuse cars, which is incorrect
at bmw, there was an email forwarded to all employees about someone "power drifting", as they put it, with the demo cars. apparently a customer spotted the temp plate and called it in to management.

What I usually do when I valet is tip the guy $20 and leave my car out front and I take the keys to the restaurant with me. If the valet is smart, he should have a few spots reserved out front and he would just pull one of those cars out and put in in the garage.
