Lancerion 04-17-2015 07:31 PM

B plates are out.

Allwest Insurance on Burrard have BA2-50K to BA2-74K, folks with Preludes may want to start calling places.

Call around some of the smaller places. A lot of them have old plates for months after most larger stores are out.

i-vtecyo 04-20-2015 09:38 PM

Maybe in 5-10 years... Or maybe not because that configuration is reserved for HAM plates

subaru 04-23-2015 12:35 AM

I asked my guys about it, probably have to wait for the A's to finish.

SpeedStars 04-23-2015 08:39 AM

Yeah, AFAIK. There hasnt been any BB#-##X yet...havent found a BX#-##X in richmond yet either

euromoron 04-23-2015 04:40 PM

I've got a couple questions about all this. Do you guys just call around to the agencies for the interesting combos that are available or do you call ICBC? Is it possible to reserve an exact plate? Do you even have to have a car for the plate to go on? I'm interested in the "MK3" run for my car and I kinda want to know well in advance so I don't end up stumbling around for info then. Thanks!

There's an MR2 with a BB# plate I see quite often on Railway, you might want to act quickly if you want a BB6 one. This new format is going pretty quick.

Zordon 04-23-2015 04:55 PM

ICBC will not tell you where the plate is. You have to call agencies yourself.
You need a car to buy a plate as the plate is your insurance policy.

Calling around is the only method. ICBC won't tell you which dealers have what. Some autoplan places will make a hold list (the one on 49th and Oak whos name I can't remember).

You will need to tie a plate to a car that is registered under your name. MK3 won't be for a while so youre gonna have to wait a while.
