A lot of people have their high-beams on tonight when I drove in Richmond... about 4 out of 5 cars with their high-beams on responded to my high-beam flash and turned off their high-beams right away (very impressive, considering it's Richmond).

Below freezing + foggy/humid = black ice everywhere.
Below freezing + dry = about to snow.

I don't know which one's worse.

drivers just get worse when the weather does. They do not change their driving habits.

yesterday early morning, some crazed c-lai in a Caravan was bombing down my street while I was scraping ice. She noticed the end of the block coming sooner than expected and panicked, jammed on the brakes while turning the wheel when it locked up.

.... boy she looked stupid when she slid onto the curb, off the curb and sideways onto Boundary road. Luckily for everyone there wasn't any traffic at all. She continued on her way after as if it never happened.

She must have traded in her A4 for something a little safer.

Supposedly the 3000k and 6000k foglights provide the same amount of visible road in the fog, oposing the general convention that 3000k did a better job in the fog.

I agree! Where bouts in northy bby?

Driving back from Surrey last night, holy crap was it icy and foggy. High beams don't do shit, people need to realize this and how it screws other drivers over.
