01 Prelude power door lock problem

The driver side door lock needs two tries (key or inside power switch) to open/close fully. Each try moves it halfway. When I manually move the switch, it's really stiff.

Anyone know where the problem is? Seems to be ok when the weather is warmer.

^ this.

if you decide you want to replace the part, get OEM. don't cheap out on the aftermarket crap.

pull open the door lube up all the moving lock parts and that will buy you some time on parts replacement
