Car too low to go into aircare.

My car is due for an aircare, I wonder if anyone is aware one aircare center that does not have those wide big speed bumps. I don't have a lot of clearance from my lip, perhaps 4 inches at most.

Speedbumps? Do you mean the dyno? What year is your car because newer cars don't need to go for a drive on it.

thought 4 inches was lots of room... and if it's just the lip being low, just take it off if you're worried

Pft, 4 inches is plenty of clearance! Try it with only 2 inches.

Now are you talking about the actual speed bumps going through the parking lot, or the dyno itself?

I went to one in Richmond and the guys were nice enough to let me back out after the test to avoid the massive speedbump at the exit.

Every year I can only go for the idle test because I can't get onto the dyno either

That is correct...if your car is too low or has aftermarket wheels with low profile tires, they will do the idle test.

yea true, i was so low i had to back out the entrance(air care near marine drive)
then i failed AC and had to go back. had about 1in of clearance when the car was on the dyno then the douche made me go out the exit this time with the speed bumps at the xit, pretty sure i scarped lol

on an off note. i saw a lowered mr2 on NYE at the liquor store going over a speed bump, guy didn't even try to angle it, just went head on... needless to say all i heard was scraping.

depending on how long the nose of car is..
i dont know about speed bumps, but it will definitely be an issue for going up hills and stuff.

to give you an exaggerated example, Enzo would definitely have a disadvantage than Smart car assuming both cars have 4 inches of ground clearance.
