yea. saw it a couple weeks ago. not too bad.
saddening how such incredibly brilliant creatures, the less aesthetically pleasing ones anyways, could be slaughtered for peanuts.
a real tribute to how foolish mankind can be.
private space was pretty comical though

I think what bothered me the most was.. When sharks get finned they just fall to the bottom of the ocean. Which is wrong in many ways.
When the dolphis were slaughtered... they were squirming and seriously in pain.
Fawk... sick sick world we live in.
the only difference i see is the intelligence level of these creatures. although all the earths creatures are incredible beings to have survived as long as they have; much more than us from that aspect. death is as natural an occurrence as life. death sustains life
if you believe that to be sick, try and imagine the things that we don't see

^ cutting off shark fins and throwing them back isnt a natural occurrence
valid point. sharks don't really have predators. aside from humans, of course
one of the reasons their species has thrived for millions of years
all i'm saying is that our negative views towards death may skew our ideas of right and wrong in the natural world

imo Asian cultures are by far the worst for this kind of thing, all the things in chinese medicines and aphrodisiacs can virtually only be obtained illegally or through totally fucked up "legal" methods like the shark fin thing
north american culture dont have black bears set up draining their gallbladders, etc. hell even poachers in N/A are almost always killing for meat, not just their paws, organs, etc

the part where they are slaughtering the dolphin and the dolphins are screaming and in obvious pain is really hard to take.
I've stop eating shark fin for a while now. Even when I go to chinese wedding banquets and i'm served fins i ask to see if its imitation shark fin if its not (99.9999999999% of the time) i just set it aside and not eat it. I don't care if the other judgmental Chinese people in attendance give me grief about how expensive it is and how its "immoral" to waste such expensive food. I have eaten my fair share of shark fin since i was a child and I refuse to contribute to this madness anymore. I'm glad that my immediate family finally see the light too and have stop consuming shark fins. I hope the rest of the chinese community wake the fuck up soon too.
ya the movies been out for a while and some of the clips in it have been shown on discovery channel in previous years or maybe its just similiar clips of it
