please help me decide: SAMSUNG OMNIA I8910 VS BLACKBERRY 9700

someone please help me decide between these 2 phones! both got great reviews...

i told myself i would never get a blackberry but it seems like the 9700 is a preety solid phone.. i've owned a omnia before so the omnia HD would be a nice replacement..

what are your guys thoughts?

I'd say go for the blackberry 9700 this is my first one and it's just awesome! I swear I'd never get a blackberry either after seeing most people with them constantly staring at it but yeah. The battery life is good and has the most powerful processor on the market for smart phones.

But then again you'd get youtube and such with the omnia all your choice!

I got a 9700 but damn, the omnia HD is a phone I've wanted since it came out. it just looks/works soooo good and like you said, reviews say the same.

tough call. think about what the phone will be used for primarily. the 9700 is arguably the best BB to date, and does everything a BB should do better than ever, but everything in the omnia HD UI (and hardware) screams sexyness.

I think I couldn't make the choice myself either, lol.

Really depends what you'll be using it for. To me they're completely different phones.
It's like comparing the iphone to a blackberry. One is more media dedicated, one is more business.

I used to be a "phone whore" and was all about having all the bells and whistles, but I hardly ever used any of the features. It was just "nice to have"

I will say this though, I've been using a berry for the past couple years, havent even looked at ANY other phones.

Plus BBM is way too addicting. Blackberries do everything they should, and they do them well.

i find touch screens to be notoriously dangerous/distracting while driving. i know now we gotta use bt while driving but dialing on a touch phone is a bitch.

my samsung touch is going in the phone drawer, bold is on its way.
