Question MSN Direct: Does it work in Vancouver?

hey guys, just trying to figure out if I should bother buying the add-on for my Pioneer that is for MSN direct. Aparently it shows you stuff like traffic, weather and so on... Does it work in Vancouver? I know it's only gonna be around till 2012, but I dont mind if it actually showed me traffic conditions...
Msn's website says they have coverage in this area, but has anyone actually used one?

MSN Direct is useless in Vancouver.. it doesn't get updated often enough like AM730.

However it "works"

Oh remember don't get the lifetime subscription because it is going out of business in 2012.

ya but if you can actually find yourself a lifetime subscription card, activate it, and then you can call MSN and cancel the subscription, get your money back, and keep the subsccription till 2012

Yea it works.
Useless tho.
You're not going to check the weather that often.
Gas prices only work in the states so its useless.
Traffic works, good for re-routing if its for a pioneer GPS.

No AFAIK Ford Sync is by Clarion and the nav data comes from Sirius.

Also Microsoft's exclusive agreement with Ford is up.. so Kia is one of the lower end cars that going to have it via their UVO system.

It looks like high end cars like BMW (got burnt by iDrive which was by Microsoft) and MB are sticking with Continental/Google.
