Protecting the boys

I play in soccer and floor hockey leagues and in the last few months I've taken a pretty good shot from both in the boys

I've never worn a cup before so I have no idea what to look for or what.. uhh... features? different models or brands have.

Ill be wearing it for both soccer and floor hockey, as well as drop in ice hockey immediately, and Kickboxing and maybe even when Im on the bike. are they pretty universal between sports?

out of the sports you listed, a cup is only common in hockey. it would restrict your movement in soccer and kickboxing. it happens man

From what i have noticed in sports stores.....

Unless you're an ice hockey goaltender, theres no such thing as a 'good' sack-shield. On the plus side, theres no such thing as a 'bad' quality nutsafe considering it has to be a CSA approved bone-fortress for it to be on the market.

So...in other words, the cheaper the better...as long as it feels comfortable for you to move.

Just don't get those old Cooper ones they sell at Canadian Tire that attaches to the sumo diaper......uncomfortable as hell.

http://www.jacoclothing.com/shop/gua...ion-short.html

Get that...the guys on the other forum use this when they train for muay thai and mma. Doesn't restrict movement and is very comfy

I use a shock doctor compression shorts with cup. works well. i use it for rolling.

if you really want to protect the junk, get a thai cup. nothing to protect you like metal.

the thing with the floor hockey is its indoor in a school gym, that hard orange ball, full size wood/composite sticks, slapshots allowed. last game i got hit by 4 or 5 stingers and one right in my berries.

so something with good mobility is a definite requirement.

I used to use a football jock for hockey, I needed one cause I forgot one for a game and thats all I could find. It's a little more skinner then a normal hockey jock which helped the movement. this was 15yrs ago tho so I don't know how much it has changed.

cyclone taylor has a compression type one. Try that and it's cheaper then the guardian one.

Go with the Jaco one. I even hooked you up with the discount so there's nothing to lose. It's used by MMA and kickboxers and they need all the mobility they can get.
