I checked everything, locked and unlocked with Key. Also checked the button in the glove box, on/off...

the trunks opens from inside, using remote but not using release button over the lic. plate?

could it be relay?? or something..

open up the trunk liner and find the wire that leads to the switch. use a short jumper wire, and short the pins to the switch at the plug, if the lock actuator makes noise, and releases, then u know the switch is faulty.
