The problem is 3rd world countries starving cause they cannot afford food. If you give more food to a starving 3rd world country, it only creates more starving mouths to feed. They don't have any population control measures (education, contraception, ....) and the population will always expand/contract with the food supply.

I always thought Chevron gas (except 94) contained ethanol like everyone else? Since I got worse mileage using Chevron 92 than Shell 91 (which has NO ethanol).
Shell has been 10%/5%/0% ethanol (87/89/91) for a while
So if you guys don't require 94...then go for Shell since their 91 V-Power has NO ethanol.

For those of you who don't pay attention... as I've posted many times over many years... there is only ONE refinery in the Lower Mainland, and it's owned by Chevron. Regardless of which gas station you buy from, all fuel in Metro Vancouver comes from that one refinery, unless it's been trucked in from Alberta or the US. The only difference is the tiny amount of additives that each 'brand' adds to their fuel. | Not exactly. Shell, Chevron, Petro-Canada have their own tank farms near SFU that are piped in from Edmonton from their respective refineries through the Trans-mountain Pipeline via Kindermorgan. Trucks distribute from each tank farm daily.

Have you ever though countries that were very poor (hint china/half of south america) now have boatloads of money to eat affluently?

I was trying to figure out which stations still source their product from the US. I love Google sometimes!
Only one I can find that still does... is Super Save. Apparently, they buy from the Arco refinery in Cherry Point, Washington.

Do the gas stations in Blaine put ethanol in their fuels? If not, more reason to fill up in the US...
