Hahah, sorry Chris. I asked but you never responded. I assumed and made an ass out of you and me:P
Well there's something on craigslist right now, I wanna get it. It's $200 for a decent set of stocks rims and tires for a 240... Comes with a car too! Quote:

Hmm, I don't recognize who's that is.. Does it have a cage? There's a guy at UFV with a nice one and there's also someone in burnaby? who has a lemons ready one.. Don't recognize that one although there are a few modded volvos in Vancouver that're doing their own thing.
Looks pretty nice though..

There's the Redblocks and Whiteblocks basically. Redblocks are what game in 200/700/900's. Whiteblocks came in all everything post 850. Whiteblocks require some fab work to get them into a reblock car, but damn they're sick if you swap them in.
Putting a 16v head (stock 8v) on a redblock and then boosting it to shit will give you lots of power, or you can go oldschool and keep it 8v...
For Redblocks lots of people use the B230ft, which was the boosted motor for the 700/900's (don't think it came in the late 240's). The boosted 240 is a B23ft, I think.
My old wagon had a B230ft in it, they're nice and plentiful. Currently I have the B23E which was one of volvo's highest output N/A block, book says 140hp.
Most of the engines are good in their own ways for certain applications.
